Juan, Harvey, and Jacob were my movers today, and they were absolutely amazing. They were polite and considerate of my things while still moving faster than I could have imagined. They were so professional and wrapped all of my large items with their equipment. I could not have asked for better movers, especially considering how tired I was. Thank you for everything, you totally made my day!!

Sharky’s was awesome! Not only were they efficient, professional, and kind but they treated our belongings and home with the care they would have if it were their own. I’ve moved many times and they were by far the best moving team I’ve ever worked with. Don’t even look elsewhere-just call Sharky’s!

Sharky’s is the best moving company around! Juan, Harvey, and Will did an excellent job in moving us from Verona to Staunton. They are totally professionals and always cheerful and happy even going upstairs with a heavy piece. They wrapped each piece in plastic and took extra care with our furniture! You will be so pleased with their service! They charge a small fee to come from Charlottesville to Staunton, BUT it is so worth it!

I used Sharkys a couple of weeks ago. I cannot emphasize how wonderful a job they did. They were very organized, extremely courteous and very careful with all of my furniture and boxes (No damage anywhere) I recommend them highly. Great Job!!!

Sharky's Moving has helped us twice on short notice, the first to move my mother into The Blake at Charlottesville Memory Care and the second time, six weeks later, to get her the heck out. This second time, two movers extended their work day in order to make the move happen the same day as requested. They are efficient, thorough and friendly. I highly recommend them.

Sharkey's was highly recommended to me, and they were even better than expected. We had a long, three day move and not only were they efficient and pleasant, they treated our furnishings with such gentle care. As heinous a process as moving is, Sharkey's guys really made it less stressful. Book them for your next move. You won't be sorry!

I can't say enough great things about the fabulous team at Sharky's. Jacob and Harvey were super helpful, very strong, meticulously careful, and efficient with the time. I am so appreciative of their great work and will recommend them to friends. All communication was clear and easy ahead of time including the booking process.

Do not use these guys. Total hacks, not at all a professional moving company. His truck looks fine on the outside but when you go inside you can see it's put together with spit & glue. You can see the street through the floor boards & the roof is some white hard plastic he added to create a roof. There are no shelves of any kind, coupled with a bunch of his own junk strewn about. I know this because l had to help them unload the truck when one of thier guys called in sick on day two.They just pile all of your boxes & furniture on top of each other. It took them two days to move us 8 minutes down the road & we had almost no furniture!! We sold most of it except for a few cabinets because we were getting new furniture. One piece of furniture I kept was an antique that was in pristine condition, and they took a chunk out of the bottom of it which now renders it worthless.We are still unpacking & each day we're finding more & more items they've ruined.He ended up charging us $3000 & unfortunately we also tipped them generously. This was before we unpacked & realized they broke so many of our items.Juan charges by the hour but don't be fooled by that because it ends up taking them days to get it done. I did not want to leave a poor review because l "thought" Jaun was a nice and fair guy, but after l sent him photos of everything they broke or damaged & told him how disappointed l was. l heard nothing but crickets. No, I'm sorry for ruining your stuff, no explanation of any kind. He just ignores you which proves my point about how unprofessional this company is. Save yourself a ton of grief, especially if you have items you don't want destroyed and look elsewhere. Don't be fooled by his reviews like l was, because after what we experienced, it's got to be family & friends writing those. I'm so glad l took photos of everything they destroyed because I may seek legal counsel over this.PS: I'm editing this review because Jaun is not telling the truth. He only responded once l gave a Google review. When I reached out to him earlier today to try & resolve this privately he would not respond. I have all his texts & he changed his story 3 times. First he said l told you & your husband about damaging your antique cabinet. Then he said l told your husband about damaging your cabinet, lastly he said I told your husband the previous movers from 3 & 1/2 years ago damaged your antique cabinet. Seriously!!!! Is this guy for real. Like we wouldn't have noticed an heirloom piece was damaged in 3 & 1/2 years when I clean it every week. Just man up & admit you damaged the item & make it right! Unbelievable!

They moved my daughter from Charlottesville to Richmond and they were very professional and reasonable. They handled everything with care and were great to work with. I highly recommend them without question!
