Sadly, just like a TJ Max with stuff lying around everywhere, but with the very occasional piece of outdoor gear or clothing. The Trading Post used to be a great thing, now it's just a distant memory.

This used to be my favorite store:
On my last two visits, I witnessed items strewn everywhere, including the floor. There were some aisles I couldn’t even access because merchandise was all over the floor.
The two teenage boys who were working during one of my visits were standing on the countertop, goofing off and looking out the window. Meanwhile, they didn’t notice there were several people waiting in line. Where was the manager during all this chaos?
This used to be a fantastic store; sadly, it’s gone downhill over past year.

Maybe not a super fair review...but they were wiped out. 😳 It was the weekend (Saturday) after the Xmas holiday. I get it if the shelves are thin after the shopping frenzy but the store was pretty dirty. Things were randomly everywhere and anywhere. Just a general clean up would have been nice for the customer experience.

Its a TJ Maxx for outdoor gear. If you are looking to snag good gear for cheap you'd be hard pressed to find a better store. I always stop in when im in Charlottesville

I was in desperate need of some good trail running shoes and most online stores where not going to get them to me in time. Then someone told me about this store that wasn't far away so decided to check it out....not only did I find the exact pair I wanted but also saved quite a bit more money!!!

Wide selection of name brand outdoor clothing, shoes, and sporting goods at reasonable prices. Plus, you can always find something new and different for your pup! My favorite retail store in the area!
