I've been going here for a month and I've really enjoyed this gym. They have everything you need for weightlifting. The cost is reasonable and everything I've needed has always been there. Would love to have towels for wiping down machines, but otherwise this gym is perfect.

***ALERT*** I would suggest to new potential customers that they find a different gym. I can't speak to Snap Fitness as a whole, but this location's staff/ownership has left a sour taste in my mouth and a disputed transaction with my bank. I've been a member for years and for the 7 months prior to canceling my membership I paid the monthly costs while not using the gym. I finally come back to work out and my keycard had been canceled and it took multiple weeks that an attempt was made to fix it to no avail. After being locked out multiple times at 5am I've decided that this is not the place for me anymore and I'm moving on.Also, they never have towels in stock and only paper napkins (sparingly) to wipe other people's sweat off the machines. Good luck to those who come to this location and pay their monthly charge, I hope you get the benefit of being able to actually use their gym.**Owner says that I wasn't a paying member in their response below. I'm not looking for a refund on past months. My last payment was on 3/13/24, as of 5:15am on 3/19/24 my access was still denied.

I would like to know if the people who serve speak Spanish?

Oh man where to begin. This gym was bought out in October of 2022, so a large chunk of the reviews here on Google are from previous ownership so take everything said with a grain of salt. There's so many problems with these two new owners, so I'll try to cover it all.1) They are incredibly greedy and cheap. Rates went up slightly when they took over, and the initial sign up fee went up a bit too. Additionally, they require that you pay a large account reactivation fee whenever you want to come back from a hiatus, something that the previous owners never did, and also something that makes it terrible for anyone coming back into town for just a month or so during a college break (which is fairly common there). In addition to this, they sold all of the old treadmills in the gym, which were great treadmills with TV's on them, and replaced them with terrible quality treadmills that bounce like a trampoline when you use them, making them quite unsafe. They also awkwardly still say on them "welcome to orange theory", which needless to say is the name of a completely different fitness franchise. It seemed evident that they took the money they made from replacing them and pocketed it.2) They don't replace ANYTHING. I'm close with a lot of people at this gym, and hands down the biggest complaint I've heard is that the equipment is falling apart. I visited for just a few weeks recently and I noticed that most of the benches are loose and unstable and the seated hamstring machine is loose in several spots. The cables are not greased at all so they sound rickety as all get out. There's leaves and dirt all over the floor in the evenings, their TVs consistently cut out, and there's holes all along the back wall where the hack leg press and reverse hyper extension machines are.3) The owners are MIA, so don't expect anything out of them. They live in Lynchburg, and they rarely ever make the 2.5 hour trip up to check on the gym. There's actually quite a few members there that have NEVER met or even seen the owners before. And like I mentioned earlier, they've owned the gym for about 15 months now.4) The owners are petty. I've seen them argue and be downright rude both directly to members faces AND behind their backs. I just don't trust them at all.5) My favorite part of it all is that I got threatened to get kicked out less than 3 weeks after my open heart surgery. I was only back for a few weeks, and within the first week one of the younger female members came up to me and started drama by talking disrespectful and blatantly rude things about another girl at the SAME gym. Talking about how no one likes her and her boyfriend is ugly. Just the most shallow and unnecessary things that could possibly be said. Well eventually she and her drama club friends decided to start false rumors about me and the owners threatened to kick me out. All while I'm literally hunched over and can barely breathe as I'm trying to slowly recover from having my Sternum sawed open and my aortic valve replaced, they decide to threaten me and tell me I'm acting inappropriately.Long story short, I couldn't imagine ever coming back to this gym. Which is a shame since all of my best lifts were here. But unless you want greed, drama, MIA owners, broken walls and equipment, and bushwhack gangs of obnoxious girls, then I suggest you don't come here.

Actually a really good gym! The thing I didn't like they always try to charge your card several times after you cancel.

If you are at all serious about fitness, this place isn’t for you. Half the time I’ve been here I’m waiting on swarms of high school (insert expletives here) sitting on the equipment on their phones. Absolutely no music. One staff member maybe. Atmosphere always feels dead. Equipment is the only redeeming quality. Have fun watching someone texting on it.

Came in for a quick workout before my flight and man can I say this was the greatest gym experience I’ve ever had. Equipment wise it has the whole package from powerlifting to great machines to functional training spaces. On top of that, the staff is amazing and super kind. If I’m ever back in town, I will definitely return and I would do so much to have a gym like this by me.

I recently got a membership to snap fitness through my health insurance, at the recommendation of my husband. This snap location is incredibly clean, the staff is actively seen maintaining and cleaning the equipment, and overall, the center is very tidy. This location isn't overly busy, I tend to go around 11:00 in the morning and there are very few people there. There are multiple workout spaces, as well as plenty of the cardio machines. There's no loud obnoxious music, and all the patrons appear to be respectful of one another.

Best part of the gym is there is an area specifically to do squats and deadlifts. There are a variety of bars to aid in lifting, and plenty of space to work out.Convenient location go there often right after work.Would highly recommend.
