Under new management and the detergent they use is so perfumed it's unbearable. I've dropped off laundry 3 times with a full bottle of free and clear detergent and asked them if they could use that on my laundry. They agree each time, and they did use it the first time. On the next two visits they clearly did not use the detergent I gave them. I don't know what they do with the detergent I gave them, they didn't use it and they didn't give it back to me. I'll no longer be using their services because it's a waste of money as I have to wash everything again because the smell is so bad. 2 stars because the staff is friendly. I miss Regina.

Tons of washers and dryers but the people working there use them for some local house keeping. Motels I'm assuming. Only found 2 washers available at $4.75 each. Industrial sized though. Dryers are .25 for 5 min. Everything worked fine. Probably best to find another place to go though.

We often use “fluff and fold” laundry services when traveling. We find them to be a real time-saver when traveling - who really wants to spend hours doing laundry when you can be out and about and enjoying your vacation? On a cost basis it also makes sense. We dropped off our laundry after lunch and had it back my 9:00 AM the next day. The total charge was $17 (the cost was based on weight with a $15 minimum). We figure our time is worth more than $8.50 per hour we paid (calculating about 2 hours to do it ourselves). The pants and shirts were on hangers and the socks, t-shirts, etc., were folded and tightly bundled. We were very pleased with the result. Sunshine laundry is located close to the UVA campus and to most hotels in the area. Helpful Hint: We always travel with a sturdy laundry bag to hold clothes along the way. It was easy to drop off the clothes in the bag when using this service.

I love the way I get my clothes back smelling wonderful. They fold , sort and compress them. They are very nice. I have stinky socks they've never gave me the oh no he's back look. I don't make much money but always tip even though they don't expect or ask. They're just worth it. Drop your clothes off or do it yourself. They've got a separate place where you can wait.

Super friendly and clean environment. Full laundry service (used during a snow storm when I had no water) was so good, I am considering using Sunshine even when the sun is shining Awesomeness.

This business came well-recommended on my neighborhood's FB page and it did not disappoint. I had blankets that were not going to fit in my new washing machine. I was able to drop them off at Sunshine and come back for them two days later. It's been a while since I've been to a laundromat, so I can't speak to the price. Two queen-sized heavy blankets set me back about $25.00. That was for the drop-off service, which I have to assume costs more than if I had stayed there and worked the machines myself.

They were very nice when I stopped by but I walked out as soon as they told me they don't accept debit/credit cards here. Quarters only. They need to get with the program and have laundry cards like the other laundromats around here like Hydraulic Wash, The Motherload, Preston Suds, etc. It's 2021 ffs. Oh, and no AC in there either.

Pretty sure the prices are cheaper than the one on Preston. And they don't make you pay in advance with the silly laundry card.I think this one also has a drop off service.

Got a formal dress dry cleaned here. After calling a few places, this one was the cheapest by far! I was in no rush and it took about a week. They didn't end up calling me the day they said that it would be ready (they told me to expect a call), but I called them the next day and picked it up so it was no huge deal.

I went in and the lady was using almost every machine. This place is not a do it yourself laundromat. She wants to concentrate on making money washing people’s clothes for them. I was made to know that I was uno go her only two dryers. I had set them to medium. They got done in thirty five minutes as she said they would. I thought that was aweful curious. All of my pajama pants are six inches too short. I went to another one the next day and it took twice as long and plenty free machines (down past the old Korger). Do not give them your business
