A lot of variety. Very well kept 'mini-city' in Charlottesville.

I have contacted the county and city to get things moving on road safety.Learned Stonefield Shops is NOT AT ALL MAINTAINED by the state of Virginia. It happens to be owned from a company based from Florida and New York, O’Connor Capital Partners.Point of saying that,One person of the community has already been hit by a car and KILLED. To avoid putting safety features up to prevent that from happening again, in my opinion it is such a dishonor to their death.Almost seen a young girl and her dog get hit by a driver.I’ve almost been hit by vehicles multiple times, along with my pet, just in the last couple weeks alone.I was born and raised in this town; it’s not a city.To say the least I’m invested in this community and THE PEOPLE!Wanting and expecting our MONEY while lacking care for our community safety is unacceptable! They had me banned for exercising my rights to speech because it is private and they are allowed their opinions without the concern, of others concerns.

Stopped at Trader Joe's. Parking lot is huge but also filled with vehicles. Popular place!Always find something we didn't have on our list...

A decent outdoor area with plenty of shops that vary from food to outlet stores. Parking can be a little iffy depending on when you go but it's not too bad.

Great to see that Victoria's Secret is now located there. Still needs a restaurant that won't cost a small fortune. Duck Donuts is awesome...but the shopping experience still needs a reasonably priced restaurant for burgers, sandwiches and drinks. Burger Bach is too expensive, imo

Nice stores, but I remember when this place was a beautiful forest with big old trees. It could have been a lovely park for all to enjoy. Don't we have enough strip malls around Charlottesville already! Given the massive population growth, we need more parks, not stores,

Stonefield was much more inclusive & inviting when it first started. There were a variety of good restaurants to choose from. Travinia was superb w/ a fantastic warm environment. People loved it! The rents were so absurd that they eventually lost them and now the space sits vacant for years. Rocksalt as well. From what I’m told the rents are on par w/ Northern Virginia. Burtons is expensive and the atmosphere doesn’t hold a candle to Travania. The stores are mostly high end catering to a certain clientele & demographic which excludes most. I suppose growing up in DC and living in NYC for many years has spoiled us but we still love to spend $ so we tend to drive to Richmond or DC these days instead of spend it in our own city. How about an H&M or an Olive Garden? Cheesecake Factory?? Aldo? Zara? Dave & Busters? Why don’t these places want to come here???

We ride through this area of Charlottesville daily for work you make the turn at hydraulic and boom you're into what we call the homeless mile.

I seriously think most people that come to this area cannot drive, the shops are cool but its so overly crowded that I try and only go if it's an absolute need.

Great shops and places to eat, plus Trader Joe's and a huge Regal Cinema.
