“As mentioned in my review of the other location (across the street), in my opinion TIN is best thrift store in Cville. This location has more homegoods and furniture, but also a nice selection of clothes and accessories. The staff is always so helpful and kind, it’s always a treat to stop by!”
“This charming vintage shop is a true treasure for Charlottesville! Its uniqueness and prime downtown location make it a standout. Although it might be a bit tricky to locate, a quick Google search of the address will lead you to a bounty of fantastic finds. I adore discovering shirts here that perfectly complement my outfits for trips or special dates. My son has also stumbled upon some awesome items, like cool toys and stylish sunglasses. The staff is wonderful and always recognizes us, which adds to the lovely experience!”

“I've been to this location and the one further north on 29. People tell me they like this location better but I think both have distinct advantages. This store seems well organized but smaller than the other store, which has a wider selection for some items like furniture. The dressing rooms, unfortunately, are closed and blocked off but you have 14 days to return an item you buy. They have clothing, books, a few items of furniture, coats, hats, a few racks full of housewares and miscellaneous items, some artwork, and handbags. There's one unisex bathroom inside. I bought a cheap winter hat here but haven't been able to find a lamp that looked decent or a tee shirt. You may have to visit a few times to find that treasured item at a great bargain.”
“Wide range of inventory, including lots of branded clothing. Stuff moves really fast, so if you find something good you need to buy it immediately. Staff were friendly.”
“My family and I went to the Rummage Store for the first time today and were highly impressed! The prices were amazing and the quality was good. Everything seemed neat and organized and the staff was very friendly! We ended up purchasing a lot of items and it’s even better that it is all for a great cause! We will be back!”
“Huge goodwill store, largest I’ve ever seen! Very good selection of items (unsurprisingly given the size), but the clothing is not well sorted and the different racks are not well labeled either, which makes it hard to find what you’re looking for. The staff were friendly & helpful during my visit, and I was ultimately able to find a couple items I liked. I would definitely come here again, as long as I know I have enough time to search through everything to find what I want.”

“The best thrift store in Cville. A wonderful blend of vintage and secondhand, well-curated and every time I’ve been, I find an amazing deal of a high-quality piece to add to my capsule wardrobe. Wonderful and kind staff, it’s truly a pleasure to stop by and see what’s new! This location has a nice selection of clothes and accessories and a few home goods in the back.”
