Arrogant employees who give 0 fs. Ridiculous wait time. Cool building, but that is about it. Everything else is ridiculous and shameful. I wasted two hours after leaving my job because of an employee’s mistake. This is not the first time this place proven to be terrible. Never trust this place, avoid at all cost

They don't fill my prescription even after requesting online. After waiting for online notification for days, Every time I go there.. they make me wait more than 45 minutes to fill the prescription. This has been happening for the past 5 months. Last month after waiting for 30 min, when I expressed my situation to a pharmacist at the counter, she laughed with another pharmacist at the side counter after she asked me to wait again. The worst pharmacy treatment I have ever experienced.

The negative reviews always surprise me. People, this pharmacy is attached to a HOSPITAL. Do you have any idea the volume of prescriptions they receive? I've had nothing but friendly and helpful service here. Order is indeed a DMV-type system but extremely streamlined and efficient. Any complaints I've seen in person are patient-end errors due to poor communication with their doctors, etc. Sometimes you wait but that's the random fluctuations of patients that occur daily. The ER is right across the street duh! Earlier in the day is much higher traffic, but go after 8:30 PM or so and you should be out within 15 minutes if you need a fill, less if it's ready. And pick up on time! Don't complain they're out of your request if you come a week or more after you set a fill! Jeez!

UVA Pharmacy consistently underperforms in regard to timeliness, quality, and staffing resources. Even though you may file days in advance, don’t expect them to be ready with your prescription when you arrive. The benefit is that it’s open 24 hours, but that’s really the only positive attribute.

I usually request my medication 4-5 days before looking for them and periodically in the past it was ready but in the last 6 months the waiting times have been excessive, more than 40 minutes for an order requested 4-5 days before.

I'm here waitn for my heart meds. And this one man keeps pushing the Same number because he DONT WANNA WAIT ON ANYBODY. These numbers already been called and gone home. Thanks godness for the other ladie that came on duty. It's now 2:18 and I'm nunder B660

They are very clean n staff is very kind. Pharmacist are always very knowledgeable when I've needed questions answered. The specialty pharmacy is awesome too

Get your medications filled anywhere else if you can. There's a 20-30 minute wait just to request your medications and then another 20-30 minute wait for them to fill it. It's usually an hour long ordeal here where it normally takes 10-20 minutes at any other pharmacy.

Having a 24 hour pharmacy in town is so important! More than once I've needed a prescription filled after normal pharmacy hours and UVA pharmacy was there to fill it. Thank you all so much for continued 24 hour service through COVID and staffing issues!

I would strongly advise against having prescriptions sent here. I've used this pharmacy for a little over a year for monthly prescriptions, and every month it's a days to weeks long event to get my medications. Every month it's one of two issues, either the prescription can't be found in the system, or they're out of stock. Also, expect a 30-45 minute wait to pick up a prescription that's already ready to be picked due to their dmv style system. Only gets two stars because they're 24 hours.

It's like a DMV -- you check in and get a number. You can't buy things like you could in a CVS or Walgreen, but you get to sit comfortably and wait for them to call your number. And it is always open. I give it four stars for making pickup easy. But remember to park in the Lee Street garage (at the Cancer Center) and walk over...

They're charging me twice for the same prescription multiple times, once I paid with my CC at pick up time and then they billed it again to me. I talked to their manager ( named Veronica!) and she said she's gonna fix it but still they're charging me monthly! This is embarrassing! They're stealing from my CC monthly and I can't do anything! so frustrating and bothering! What a shame!
