Poor ExperienceSales : satisfactory. Rep was friendly and follow up and followed through with everything he stated.Sales Manager: Pushy and rushed the entire process. Didn't want to allow for a test drive with it being a little after their closing time and me driving from richmond. Almost felt like he didn't want me to observe the vehicle. Didn't allow finance the chance to offer or explain service plans under the assumption I didn't have an approval with my bank. Rushed the situation so much that paper work was missing and needed to be resigned. Also didn't get my down payment! I had to email that night and call in first thingreceived it. (Imagine that). Left an unsatisfactory review on the new customer email and Don felt the need to take ownership but I can't help but feel that it wasn't genuine.My car had scratches all around the car. Him rushing me made me feel it was necessary to check all around. Scratches on each door fender hood truck and bumper. He assured me that they would take care of it, and that it would be marked on the "We Owe". Which states: "Repair scratches in paint around entire vehicle"After call multiple times with no answer I emailed the finance rep to follow up. To which she replied they've "addressed the scratches best they could". The scratches are clearly still very visible and the deeper scratches are blotchy and look poorly filled in. Just flat out lumpy.Finance: under trained and had to be the face of the errors and mistakes. Neren was polite and friendly however didn't share service contract info at the time of my signing so I had to insist in email and follow up calls the next day to get information. This was mostly due to Don rushing but that still doesn't make it acceptable.Missed things necessary to finalize deal with my bank so I had to have documents mailed in just to redo the paperwork.All in all I'm very unsatisfied even after pushing forward and attempting to allow this team to care about me and my business there. To feel unwanted rushed and during the finance signing discriminated against by the finance manager (asked me to resend dealer paystubs) because he needed to see himself that I made the income I stated. Mind you on speaker I heard their Cap1 rep say there was no stipulations! And my Cap1 rep on the phone said the exact same thing. Having Don try to turn me away after driving 1 1/2 hours to get there PRE APPROVED by my bank. This doesn't sit well and will be reported to the owner of the group

Jeff Holland gave my wife and I a great experience at the VOLVO Cars of Charlottesville dealership yesterday. Without hesitation, several staff members moved a few cars out of the showroom to accommodate a test drive of the exact VIN I was interested in. Professional and courteous during the entire process. Jeff definitely went above and beyond and respected our privacy as needed. Highly recommend him to anyone that walks through the doors at the dealership. We had a fantastic experience here. Super friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved Paul L. He was sincerely helpful, pulling up the cars and had AC on before we even arrived. He also helped us pull information and find answers to all of our questions. Definitely would recommend shopping here.

Sunglasses missed! Watch your belongings when having service here from now!!!Had my car serviced here today (4/24/2023) but my sunglasses that I left in the car were missing ( case was still there) when I got my car back. Searched everywhere possible in the car and called to check it at office. Then Walked back to their building and talked to Jimmy. He responded to me instantly. He helped search in my car and asked around the service team. But not surprisingly no one claimed he took it. Very upset and disappointed! Our family have used their service for about 7 years and have been happy till now. A pair of used Prada does not worth anything. What’s the point for this guy stole it from me? Volvo Charlottesville needs give me an answer.

Pros:Friendly service staff, very clean facility, and gorgeous classic cars in the waiting area.Cons:Brought my car in because in wet weather when we turn at slower speeds our car kind of jumps 2-3 times making it feel as though you have no control over it.They kept my car for over two weeks and said they tried everything they could to reproduce however other than one time when I was initially was there they could not reproduce the issue.We drove home about an hour away and the very next day while out with my family we had the same issue again. We will now need to bring it even further from home to have it serviced as the team at CMA is not capable of resolving the issue.Beyond this we never had any issues with our breaks however after our car spent time at CMA our breaks are squeeling in wet weather.Per everything I have found the factory breaks should last at least 30 - 40k miles depending on your driving behavior.Our car only has around 15,000 miles on it.It could be a factory defect as we previously lived in an airid climate so we rarely experienced wet conditions but in the first week of being in VA we had no issues, since our car went to CMA it has had issues.

What a terrific buying experience from the team at CMA’s Volvo of Charlottesville! From Paul’s fast response to my internet inquiry through every person I dealt with at the dealership, I knew I’d be buying a pre-owned car from this great group of professionals. It was well worth the trip from DC: from a courtesy car pickup at Amtrak, a quick auto maintenance/servicing, an easy in/out signing of paperwork with Olivia and Sales Mgr Don arranging a special run by the dealership to deliver a part and extra keys to me back on Capitol Hill…I can only say WOW and thank you. CMA’s Volvo Charlottesville R-O-C-K-S!

Brought my car in 2 weeks ago for an oil change and tire balance/rotation. My ride was very bumpy and uneven when they finished. I brought it back last weekend to have the service redone and the ride was greatly improved. However, no farther than a mile after leaving the dealership, my coolant hose ruptures, spewing coolant, with clouds of smoke billowing from under the hood. There was a clean slit in the coolant hose and the coolant emptied into the shopping center parking lot where I’d pulled over.Over $500 dollars and a few hours later, I was back on the road. While I am thankful for the technician who ultimately fixed my car, the entire experience left me feeling very leery. I got a second opinion from my home dealership and they agreed that something about this experience didn’t seem quite right.

This is not a good dealership for Volvo. They don’t answer the phones, you have to be very specific if you want something done, and they seem pretty unapologetic about the entire experience. Not used to this with Volvo dealerships it is usually a pretty special experience but instead the shrug and say “understaffed.”

I bring my Volvo all the way from Broadway Virginia to this dealership for service I've never had a bad experience. The technicians seem very thorough and detail oriented. My car is always returned to me cleaner than I left it. Impressive!

I like Volvo, I like the cars. Unfortunately, the service department does not listen to you. They also failed to do the oil change properly which resulted in a leak all over my garage.

Every single interaction I’ve had with the staff at Cville Volvo has literally been exceptional. Whether I call them or bring it in for service or just stop in unannounced with an issue (three times now ?). They’ve been SO nice and friendly and helpful EVERY time. I leave every time in a better mood. Tell me how many places you can say that about!

The service at this dealership is top notch. It's really actually quite impressive how friendly and approachable everyone is! Todd in service really goes above and beyond- it's clear that he actually values what his customers think and that they're happy.Oddly I would consider getting another Volvo, not necessarily for the virtues of car itself (though I like my car) as much as I know that I'll be taken care of by the folks at this dealership.

Great place to buy a Volvo or have one serviced. I usually have all my maintenance done here from oil change to tires. The waiting area is very comfortable with sofas and chairs making it feel like home. You can also find complimentary coffee, soda's and snacks available. They even have Hagan Das ice cream. The staff is friendly and helpful. The one best part about service here is they wash and vacuum the car before they return it to you. I always recommend CMA to friends for their outstanding service. Thank you!
