I did not visit the pharmacy, I wasn't planning on visiting the pharmacist and have not called this location. WAG has puff mints that are made with cane sugar vs high fructose corn syrup and that was my main purpose for going. They have limited pharmacy hours, which seems to be the norm for all Walgreens and CVS nowadays. The pharmacy was actually closed today due to a staffing shortage and the pharmacy is now normally closed on Saturdays.

This pharmacy is having major problems. Long waiting times (I waited 40 minutes today and was ultimately unsuccessful in getting my scheduled Covid shot) and seemingly incompetent staff. Someone needs to come in to better manage this place.

if I could give this store a zero or negative rating, I would. and I am writing this review the based on my pharmacy interaction, not the store in general. They do not honor, legitimate "good RX" coupons, even though they are listed as a participant. I had a valid, good RX coupon that had Walgreens and all the information needed on it and I was told "their computer" could not except it. Bad business practice, I call that bait and switch. Will never go there again.

Here's another example of where Yelp needs a 'zero' rating as one star for this pharmacy. They are frequently out of stock of much needed prescription medications that cannot be delayed for days and even weeks. Inventory management is all but non-existent. The staff seems under trained and simply uncaring of their situation. The all too common reply of 'we're understaffed' is over used where other providers seem to not suffer from this condition. Go anywhere else other than the Pantops Charlottesville Walgreens pharmacy.

Terrible staffing shortage. Don't bother coming here for a vaccine. Staff has been desensitized and who can blame them! Look elsewhere for your pharmacy needs

The pharmacist is highly unpleasant and unhelpful.Expect to be to wait in line for an unreasonable amount of time and then to be told that “your medicine is on the truck” even though that is obviously a blatant lie.I have had too many bad experiences at this location and will switch to Top Notch Family Pharmacy. They have far better service and even though the location is not as convenient it makes no sense to go to a place that has zero respect or concern for its customers.

Worst pharmacy in Charlottesville. Go elsewhere before you're screwed over. I have several medications that I CANNOT stop taking or I'll have a seizure and they NEVER fill my prescriptions in time. Don't even try automated service to get your prescriptions cause they won't get it. Instead you have to wait over 30+ minutes to get someone on the phone. This place needs to be closed down. Horrific

The pharmacy manager said they don't need your business. They have more customers than they can service.Was originally told prescriptions on hold for 14 days before returning to stock. Went to pick up and now it's 7 days. And it's always been 7 days according to them. Get those policies in writing if you're told something similar in the future.They Filled one Rx for a 90 day supply with three refills within a 30 day period ending in 1 month physician said it was a pharmacy error.Was kept on hold for 1 hour and 30 minutes. At start there were 4 ppl in front of me, then 3, then 2. Then zero. 15 minutes into the middle of their lunch break they pick up and hung up the phone. Nobody ever answered the call. Am moving my prescriptions to another store. Urge you to do the same.

Great customer service but starving for help. One person working the counter, drive thru, answering phones, and filling prescriptions. She remained calm and polite but was pulled in many directions.
