Could not get my insulin for weeks. Had to go to another in Danville that had it. They close at random times. Take forever to get anything done or taken care of. The owner should sell this because they obviously do not care about the people that need there medications

A lot of people I know, some in my family, have had serious problems with getting their prescriptions at the Chatham location, however, I have received nothing but professional and courteous service in a timely manner over the past two years. I think staff that shows up to work is over stressed and maybe ill tempered because others don’t show up for their shift, creating an unfair workload to others. Sometimes a smile and thank you works better than anger in a stressful situation.

They are rude and lied to me about my sons insurance not covering his medication after waiting for almost 48 HOURS to have it filled. We transferred them over to another pharmacy in the area and it went through just fine.

It takes so long to get you prescriptions inside and out, it is absolutely absurd. I understand being busy but everything you go it should not take that long, if they even have your prescriptions ready 2 days later.

Horrible customer service in the pharmacy and management. I would give no stars if I could. Call corporate to report them. Nothing is done to correct the nonsense at store level, they're all friends. Go to Walgreens. This CVS took 5hrs out of my day. After an hour wait in drive through for each of the 3 trips I was repeatedly told my prescription wasn't ready, after the pharmacist told me 45min wait time! When I asked if I would receive text alerts the answer was "I think so, you should but I can't guarantee it." I was a waiting customer. The third time I was told 45min I asked if it would be ready and the rude pharmacy tech says "maybe." I told her maybe was not an acceptable answer. I requested to speak to the manager. The manager's response was "They're short staffed. If you know a pharmacy tech send them here and it'll get done faster." Wow, are you serious?! You condone customers being treated any way staff likes. It's your job to fix staffing- not mine! I had an abdominal procedure and this was outrageous to deal with. The pharmacy tech chose to be loud, argue, and had a nasty attitude. The last trip there my husband arrived to pick up the meds, an hour and a half later- they said 45min, he was once again made to wait nearly an hour, as they took every other car behind him through the no touch covid testing line to get their prescriptions. He was the last car served,, on purpose I'm sure. When the pharmacist brought the meds over to the window stating "I got these ready for you" the loudmouth tech came over and took the prescriptions away and threw them on the back counter forcing my husband to wait 20 more minutes, as the pharmacy staff and store manager looked out the window giggling at his irritation. This was vindictive and unprofessional. If you don't like your job QUIT. The info paper on the bags said promised at 8:27pm, pharmacy closes at 8pm. That shows they didn't even attempt to fill it earlier. I received a text at 8:28pm, after closing, stating it was ready. I already picked it up.They are playing with peoples lives. What if it was insulin or epileptic meds? They acted like a bunch of high school kids, with a petty get even plan, needing some discipline and a manager who isn't afraid to have backbone. The numerous bad reviews speak volumes!

I have had better dealings with smaller local town pharmacies than with cvs they ask you business infront of everyone they do not care about the people n to add to all of that they are just rude ppl n this is a statement for every Cvs I’ve been to and especially the one in altavista va

I just received my Covid vaccine today. Wow, talk about well organized! This was well worth the 2-hour drive. Everything worked like clockwork. I had a 4:45PM appointment and arrived 15 minutes early. After my 15 minute wait after the vaccination I was ready to leave at 5PM!

Horrible customer service. Pharmacy staff are nasty twords customers especially over the phone. Pharmacy also does not care to help you sort out any problems you may have with a prescription. Avoid if possible.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but this pharmacy is terrible. Had a script filled at a different cvs, they say they can't see anything on my profile. No offer to help. So I call other CVS where script was filled, and the RX showed up... Pharmacy manager there said they absolutely should've seen it or at least offered to look it up. Pharmacy tech in Chatham was absolutely horrible and arguing with me to the point she was talking over me! I don't care how busy you are, the most important task is the customer in front of you or on the other end of the phone....
