So much more than just a book store, it's a published writer's hobby, a man who is passionate about books, extremely knowledgeable, and a fascinating conversationalist. Well worth the visit just to meet Mr Henry Hurt!

Had a couple of really good finds here. The owner who is also an author has his personal collection for sale in the back room. There were a couple of purchases I made that I consider treasures. Highly recommend a visit if you love books.

My wife and I will always make it a point to stop in whoever we are in Chatham. Thousands of rare books you won’t find anywhere else are always on the shelves and the conversations with Mr. Hurt are always so welcome.
