I was scheduled on 3/23/24 for an appointment at 1P on 3/26/24 due to a cancelation. I arrived and was told that I would have to be rescheduled due to all of the doctors being at lunch. Absolutely unacceptable! Why schedule someone for that time, send several messages a day about the appointment, even received one today only to have it cancelled! I will definitely NOT be returning!!

Everything WAS OK, UNTIL I WENT TO PICK UP MY GLASSES, I WASN'T EVEN OFFERED A BAG, OR A ,CLOTH TO CLEAN,GLASSES AFTER SPEND ING ALL THE. MONEY ISPENT! ,Yall can do a lil, better !!

Amazing customer service!! Selena, Tammy, and I believe his name was Gavin. They were amazing, greeted me with a smile. Selena made me laugh throughout the first half of my appointment. Tammy made the second half with the doctor very comfortable, and explained everything thoroughly throughout and after the exam. Gavin made the check out process easy and fun. 10/10 customer service. Amazing service!

I was a little shocked. I brought with me 2 pair of glasses. While in the exam room , I thought that 1 pair could be fixed. After the visit I told the clerk that i didn't need extra glasses. I was then told my glasses were not able to be fixed and they sent me on my way. After the visit at home my spouse and I looked at the glasses. With a repair kit from the grocery store. I called back to the store and they said I was able to come back anytime for the 2 pair for $79.00

Everyone was so kind and helpful! The whole process did not take long at all even though they were busy with other guests! Tammy was great to talk to and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed while doing the exam online with the doctor

I could not reach the store that I ordered my son’s glasses from and was becoming frustrated. Gavin from the Portsmouth Blvd store was awesome! I had spoken to him a few days earlier when I couldn’t reach the store and on both occasions, he checked the order status. Today he contacted the store because I was still unable to reach the location where the glasses were purchased.!! Gavin was very professional and provided excellent customer service!!! Thank you Gavin!!

Horrible experience, I checked in at the front desk they told me to go to the back and have a seat. I did, but they never told anyone that I was there for my appointment so someone comes and asks me why I was sitting there..did I have an appointment...why else would I be there. They finally started, late of course I had been waiting 15 to 20 minutes. Then I overheard them not allowing another patient to be seen because that person was 6 minutes late. So I actually said that seemed unfair especially since they messed up my appointment. They did comp part of my bill at least. Next, when my exam was over, and it was time for me to check out I was standing and waiting for the next available person, however they asked 2 teenagers that walked while I was waiting win to sit down and be helped even though I should have been next. So then someone asked another employee who's papers are these..they were the papers with my exam information. Then when I was finally being helped, they were supposed to staple my prescription to my receipt. Of course I'm past ready to go, and definitely wasn't purchasing my glasses from there. When I go to lens crafters 2 days later to look for glasses I noticed that my prescription was not stapled to my receipt, so I had to drive back there to pick it up, then go back to lens crafters. There's still 1 more issue about exam that I called to check on today..of course it was not handled, of course they claimed that they would have it done by the end of the day today. I'm very doubtful it will be, but we will see.

First and foremost I hope any who may read this is staying safe and healthy.I visited this particular location and the atmosphere was like being at home. Very proficient, courteous, knowledgeable, punctual and I was treated as a person not a number. Most businesses have forgotten that without consumers, customers, they would not exist.After all it is the customers who businesses rely on.This location is super duper awesome. I am very pleased and elated to know that patients are their number 1 priority.Kudos To The Amazing Staff5 star ✨ rating isn't enough, my rating is all the stars ⭐ in the sky.PS: Some may need to know if there is any problems with your glasses or contacts they are ready to remedy the issue.Thank You ?I can see much better now.Continue To Stay Safe And Healthy

You need a hard copy of your prescription in order to get glasses. They are unable to access their own website to help you order glasses without a prescription. They will do the best they can to help you if you don't have a prescription. Lots of frames to choose from. You can get prescription sunglasses. Safety glasses for kids and adults. Contact lenses available. They will give you a free eye exam if you order 2 pairs of glasses. Poor knowledge and helpfulness are my reasons for the three star review in regards to the prescription requirement.

Staff here is AMAZING! First time shopping here for glasses, and I'll definitely come back for my next pair! Highly recommend America's Best for glasses! Be prepared to smile and leave satisfied with your purchase! I can not speak for the other stores but i will speak for the Chesapeake square location their store number is 5774. The receptionist/tech was outstanding her name is Gail! Their were two other women working this evening and they were great too! I can not say it enough this team was outstanding! The manager is amazing herself was great. Angie is the manager and I recommend 10 out of 10! Go make a visit if you need a pair of new glasses!This location was so great I am currently putting in a application to be a part of this AMAZING TEAM!

This was my first time at this location and as soon as I came in I was greeted and taken back to the pre-test room. Mrs. Tammy was very helpful with explaining the test and her energy is just amazing. Will definitely continue to come to this location as long as she is here! The young man Gavin at the front desk was helpful in letting me know that they took my insurance and saved me an out of pocket expense. He was very pleasant
