This place used to be amazing. But now, i wish i could give negative stars. I have been bringing my great dane here twice a year for 5 years, as per the wellness plan i pay for every month. One time, i asked them to cut his nails (he gets aggressive with his nails). They couldn't do it and said he needed to be medicated. That is understandable, i did it, and they still were not able to cut his nails. Ever since then, they say he needs to be medicated for EVERY appointment. He has never gotten aggressive, accept with nails, and every other appointment has been pleasant. It has never been an issue, but now it is. This has been 2 years now. I found a place that cuts his nails with zero issues and zero medication. I was just turned away from my appointment. He did not get any of the immunizations that he needs and that i have been paying for. They said that they do not come into the room to do treatment, which is the first time in five years that that has been the "rule." This is the closest location for me, a 50-minute drive one way from elizabeth city. Their solution was to make me pay $60 for medication and come back in probably a few months. I will not be coming back. And now he is behind on vaccinations that i have already paid for, and they are refusing to give him.

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!! I had a horrible experience at the Greenbrier location including my dogs Wisdom Panel swabs not being taken during his appointment as requested and discussed before his appointment. After weeks with no results I called and was told someone dropped the ball and never took the swabs for the DNA test. I tried to cancel my wellness plan by the 4 day trial period and was given the run around. I decided to try another location, well not that much difference just cleaner and more friendly. They took the swab but lost it and it was never mailed out. After weeks of waiting for my results I call and the can’t even find my dogs DNA kit information and want me to come in for a 3rd attempt to get my dog swabbed. I will pass. This is so ridiculous they want you to pay monthly for this kind of service. I really wish they would just cancel my plan as I requested before my trial ended, I’m still we on that phone call. Please yourself and your pet a favor and RUN find a real vet that is not money hungry and disorganized company your pet deserves better. I understand people make mistakes but I have only had to appointments with many employee errors, I wouldn’t trust them with my pet with so many mistakes.

We pay monthly for three dogs and just recently acquired a cat from the SPCA. Unfortunately our cat came with extra baggage.... some worms. We called the vet and asked to be put on the list for first available appointment. They told us they would put us on the cancelation list and call us. We asked, and they said they couldn't get an appointment in for 2 to 3 weeks. They never called us, which is unacceptable. Keep in mind we pay to be members of the Banfield Club every month. We pay a lot of money for the three dogs we have currently and we're looking to add the cat to this plan. Since this incident we have to rethink it. We have taken care of our cats situation at this point but are EXTREMELY disappointed in Banfield and its staff.

Worst experience of my life! My dog was diagnosed here with cancer, and they never once treated or tried to treat him. They offered to kill him off multiple times .. more than I can count now. He came here for an infection; they turned him away because of underlying health issues. They never could do anything! If you love your pet, please take them somewhere else! They lucky google don't have 0 stars because that what they deserve. Same experiences at the other offices as well smh.

Went there to get a stray cat scanned for a micro chip... Staff was extremely helpful and super friendly! They helped us reunite a lost pet with their owners!

They took such good care of my baby "Cash" from the first phone call to picking him up. I didn't think we would get seen same day and they made sure Cash was. He was seen and taken care of and ready go hkmenj344

They told me to upgrade my plan then told me a week later my dog had a mass and was dying. They told me their was nothing I can do. I took her to another vet and she had a benign mass. The other vet removed it. She is healthy now. I had to spend 3k for the other vet to treat ny dog and to do surgery. I told them I only had the plan upgraded one week and just wanted to go back to my original plN and no longer extend as I had lost trust. They were rude and said sorry no way unless you pay 900 dollars. They then threatened my credit. This place is a scam.

My fur baby is 12 and they had her over 6 hours was way to much time for a older dog to be placed in A kennel and not.taken.out to potty. They' toldme when I made the appointment she would be there for a few hours not over 6. Not a happy parent

$64 to change a bandage….Then $130 to take a bandage off, and re-bandage.We ask “why/how?” And they say “at least it’s not $7000”We pay them monthly by the way- for their pet plan.Need I say more?
