I have never left this Barnes and Nobles and had a good experience. We went to pick up a book today, and when we asked one employee where we could find the book she ignored me a few times. I was ready to walk away, but my husband finally got her to give us the time of day. Finally, we went to check out. No one was working the cash registers. One lady was standing next to a register, but avoided eye contact even though my husband was attempting to get her attention. We ended up just leaving.

They have books.
Apparently the toilets and urinals haven't been cleaned since the 20th century.
The carpets are also disgusting.
No change years later.

Stopped in, got two books for my daughter, and a book for me. We then got a refresher from Starbucks. It was a pretty typical trip for us. I love our trips to the books store. Me and my daughter have such lovely discussions about our books when we go in there. We tend to sit in the starbucks after our purchase just so I can draw out the trip a bit before we go home and my teenager goes back into her cave ? ?
