I took my vehicle to Bay Custom Auto Collision after a minor accident, and while the damage seemed small, they ultimately ruled it as totaled due to the cost of parts and labor. Although I wasn’t happy with the outcome, the team remained professional and kept me updated on when they would assess the vehicle.
One thing to note is that they only communicated with the insurance company and did not offer any advice or alternative options directly to me. However, they allowed me to collect my personal items without any hassle and worked quickly so my vehicle wasn’t just sitting in their lot.
In the end, I left without a vehicle and had to purchase a new car, which was frustrating. While the process was smooth in terms of communication and efficiency, I would have appreciated more guidance on possible options.

Not pleased at all. Was told that State farm insurance company only covered the side of the car with the majority of the damage. I was the one inconvenienced. You guys know as adjusters what damage was done recently. Why try to slide this past me, without an explanation. I will be calling State Farm next. I'm not a happy customer. Never again, I want a company that's 1st class and honest, that will do what they kmow is right. Not just to recieve an insurance check and move on...

Nothing but an outstanding Customer Service and great experience at Bay Custom Auto.my daughter’s car was hit at a college parking garage right before Spring break. bay Custom Auto was able to get me in right away, did the estimate and took my car on Monday, all fixed by Friday just on time for my daughter to go back to college. Ms. REYNOLDS was awesome, she took care of everything and worked with my needs and short time.What a great place and bunch of professionals!Don’t hesitate to use Bay Custom Auto for your!Thank you for getting my Daughter’s vehicle fix! Bay Custom did great work on repairing/replacing damage to my passenger door. Hard to tell it’s not the original door.The only thing I would change is give more frequent updates. After having my car for 10 days, I was told (when I called them on a Monday) that it would probably be done by Friday. I wasn’t given an update until I called back the following Tuesday. I understand that stuff happens that cause delays…I’d just suggest that they be more pro-active in communicating the status of the vehicle.

After being hit by another person, their insurance set up Bay to repair my truck. Bay, the insurance and myself all agreed on date and time to drop off my truck for the repairs. When the time came, Bay had no record of this, however, they agreed to take my truck in. They also informed me the insurance was notorious for taking a long time to get the estimate approved. A week repair took three weeks ( insurance held it up), Bay also was helpful in assisting me in returning my rental. They did good work and were helpful with issues that came up. I would use Bay again.

Overall, my experience with Bay Custom Auto was ok. I was glad about the work they did to repair my sunroof. However, I am sad about the window itself not being clean as well as the upper interior roof area having smudges from handling, resins, and the water stain damage still there. I had thought I heard the tech say that they will do detail cleaning once that all the work was done. However, that is not the case as it is today and so my roofing interior is just dirty as well as the window on both sides.I will reach out to them once again on Monday to see what can be done. I also reached out to the insurance company thinking that perhaps the cleaning detail is supposed to come from another company. I’m not sure. It was just my thought that all the dirt, stain, smudges, and resin or residue would all be cleaned away. It’s my thought the customer should not have to clean that up when the customer did not put it there or cause it to be there. Hopefully a good solution can be worked out. Thank you. January 2024
