I took my truck in for a check engine light. My appointment time was 8:00 a.m. I did not receive a call regarding the diagnosis. I called the service department and Ray told me that some people "left" and they did not get to my truck. He told me they wouldn't get to it until the next day. I told him I had to drive to work the next day. He sent Lyft to pick me up. He never apologized for the inconvenience nor did he offer to reschedule. I understand that things happen, however, the burden is on the merchant to make it right. The next day I left a voice mail for the Service Manager. I also submitted my complaint via the online form in the Contact Us section. The manager called me that evening and told me that technicians had walked off the job and he apologized and rescheduled me for that Friday. My truck was serviced in a timely manner, however, there was no offer of restitution for me having to take another day off from work to get my vehicle serviced due to no fault of my own. The diagnosis fee could have been waived for my trouble. I spent almost $500.00 and wasted a day off from work. That is poor customer service and the only reason I went back to them was because I needed the Lyft service to get me back home. I will plan ahead next time to use another dealership and hopefully be shown more compassion when/if something arises that causes delays or setbacks.

Erich and everyone at Cavalier Ford were awesome - they are all down to earth, genuine & very helpful. We will definitely be back when my husband needs a new vehicle and we will most definitely work with Erich again!! We just moved to the area and found our go-to dealership!!

Very laid back and comfortable to deal with. Not high pressure just helping us find what we needed. This includes sales, finance, customer information and management. We told them we needed to take a minute to go eat, normally dealerships try to keep you from leaving, they made suggestions of where to grab a bite, offered if we wanted to let us take car and said. "come back when you are ready" We liked the positive vibe from all. Thank you.

Amazing customer service. I worked with Drew & John and they truly care about their customers. It is not about selling a vehicle. They listen to their customers and provide them with EXCEPTIONAL service. John came in on his day off just to be sure that I was comfortable with everything about the truck. He went over the entire truck with me and said to please call him or come see him with any questions. You will not find 2 more caring people to work with than Drew & John. Thanks for a headache-free amazing experience.

This was my first time purchasing a vehicle from Cavalier Ford and my wife and I was treated with respect. Jermaine P. had answered all of my questions as our Sales Consultant. The Sales Manager Drew M. had provided me with information that would be helpful to me for what will be coming to Cavalier Ford. Iwas able purchased a vehicle that I wanted and let away feeling I made a fantastic decision in my purchase. I will recommend purchasing a car from Cavalier Ford.

We bought a very gently used car. The salesperson, the manager, and the fiance dept worked together to get us out the door in less than 2 hours. We are satisfied with the customer service the professionalism, and most importantly the car. We had been searching for weeks and the team was the best put of all our encounters with 9 other dealerships.

We just purchased a used truck from Cavalier Ford and they couldn’t have made the process easier. I have purchased many cars from Cavalier Ford (Ches Sq) and will continue to do so for one reason, they care. They care about their customers, they care about their vehicles, they care about doing the right thing. That’s hard to find in the Car Dealer world. Drew M is open and honest and Nickolay is knowledgeable and patient. Great job!

Cavalier Ford, JD Johnson, and Rick Kirby were awesome. Cavalier was the third car lot I visited looking for a vehicle. They listened and actually took into account what my needs were. They found the perfect vehicle for me, took to it, and helped me purchase it. The team at Chesapeake Square is great! Will definitely speak to them soon about another vehicle for my wife.

Very happy with my purchase of a 2023 Ford Tremor! My salesman was Jermain and he definitely helped me out all the way through the purchase of this amazing truck. He was even nice enough to bring me back home because my wife is learning to drive. Never once did I feel like I was being pushed to buy something I wasn't interested in. Beth was a big help in making sure my truck was kept in tip top shape, and Craig was there to help break all the finances down and explain what it all meant. The whole team at Cavalier Ford felt like family! I highly will recommend them to everyone I pass by who's in the market for a vehicle. What I though that was really cool was how many of the people that worked there were prior military. This made me feel at ease because I'm active military. ? my whole experience at Cavalier was Peace Of Mind!!

I met Lawrence when I came to test out a Bronco Sport. Lawrence was helpful and friendly, but the car wasn’t for me. No pressure. Lawrence followed up the next day with other options, and I ended up with a vehicle that I love. This dealership is willing to work with you without applying too much pressure to sell. Plus, many more incentives and promotions than available at other places in the area. Definitely worth a visit!

I was able to get me a car with my trade alone which I greatly appreciate. But they could of detailed the car better because the inside was not as clean as it should of been. So the score for me is a three could of been higher if better details was given to clean the car and if the sales person I was working with showed up when I came to get the car. I am glad I was able to get a vehicle here but some services could be better.Update - I would never recommend this facility to anyone. Because they lack true customer service skills and they made me feel like I was a bother to them instead of a valued customer who just purchased a vehicle that you may want to come back again. But I didn't get that and I would never ever go back to this facility. I work in customer service and I would never make a customer feel the way they made me feel. This place really needs training classes in customer service. This place is a rip off because the vehicle they sold me has a engine light that comes on and instead of fixing it they want to charge me close to 400 to fix it and it doesn't cost that much to fix nor take that long because I researched it. But I'm glad I learned this now because now I know. Never ever ever ever ever will I recommend this facility.

Ford Chesapeake Square service department dropped the ball today yet again. This is the second time I have taken my vehicle for service at a certified Ford dealership and both times I was given subpar service. This cannot be a coincidence because I took it to two different locations in the area and they both were equally bad. First off, I made an appointment for routine maintenance which was for 10 am. I arrive 15 minutes in advance and wait in line to be called for assistance. I had to wait until 10:15 before I was even greeted by a customer service representative, the customer service agent then asked for my information which I gave to her, and she then preceded to tell me that another gentleman was assigned my vehicle, so the wait continued. While I waited, I observed that there was an elderly white man in the vehicle directly behind me and the customer service agent loudly asks Has anyone helped this gentleman!! The customer service agent then went to look for him and couldn't find him. After another 10 minutes the customer service agent finally comes and greets me and keys my information into the system and assures me my service should not take but 2 hours at the most being it was an oil change, state inspection. He asked me was I going to drop the vehicle off or wait, I chose to wait because it was routine maintenance and the service rep assurance of a speedy evolution. I waited for three hours before the service representative came in the waiting area for what I thought was the end of the service. I was wrong the service representative came to inform me that it would take another 2 hours before my vehicle would be ready because they just got it into the bay for service. I asked why it took so long and that I had an appointment, his response was there an issue with the vehicle before me. I am now home and its 3pm and my vehicle is still not ready I called to the dealership, and they can't give me an update. I personally feel like this lack of service is a racial issue. While I waited for service I watched and took note of everyone who came in for service and waited. I was the only black male in the waiting room along with many other customers who were all elderly white men and women that came in after my scheduled appointment time and left before I got the update at the 3-hour mark. This is the second time where I took my vehicle in for routine maintenance and the wait was ridiculously long, customer service was nonexistent, and I felt racially discriminated against. I feel like the service department service was purposefully undesirable in retaliation for me being a black man and also being a black man receiving service on Juneteenth. I will be looking into legal action as well as contacting 10 on your side to see if this a trend for customers of color. P.S. as of 3:40 my vehicle is still at the Ford dealership.

Good luck getting any "advisor" on the phone to schedule an appointment. If you own a ford, and this is the only place to get service from just trade your vehicle for something else.

I just purchased my second Ford vehicle from Cavalier Ford. I have had “all good” experiences with Cavalier Ford employees and excellent service! It’s been my experience that they were “no pressure sales” and they worked with me to get the vehicle I wanted and the payment within my budget. I have been fortunate to obtain 0% financing both times, which seals the deal! My salesman, John Burton, has been very helpful and patient in teaching me how to use the new features as well. Diane Johnson in the Service Department has always been helpful, efficient, kind, and compassionate. My vehicle has always been ready in less time than estimated also! I would definitely recommend Cavalier Ford to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle!
