Creekmore Hardware is a family-owned local shop that provides an enjoyable and knowledgeable alternative to big brand name or big box stores. The store has everything from thumbtacks to bicycles, including paint, tools, yard items, screws, bolts, and hard-to-find parts for old houses. They have interesting gardening tools and sell EZ Passes. If they do not have an item, they try to get it. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, awesome, friendly, and loves to help. They greet everyone and will take customers right to what they need, so there is no need to look around, though the store is full of interesting items to explore. The experience takes you back and feels like Americana. The prices are pretty good. The store is set up like a warehouse. The main entrance is to the far right of the parking lot, which can get full. The doors are a little heavy, and the aisles are narrow, but it is possible to maneuver a mobility scooter inside. It is a place where you can be in and out quickly rather than walking around a huge store.
