Great experience dropping in at this CrossFit while I was visiting family in the area over Thanksgiving!!
Everyone I interacted with was friendly and inviting. The gym itself is clean and much of the equipment appears either new or very well taken care of. A++ will drop in whenever I'm in the area.

I’ve been a member at this CrossFit gym for a month, the facility itself is fantastic – well-equipped, clean, but I’ve had a very disappointing experience with one of the coaches specifically Lindsey. Her approach to coaching me my husband and son was demanding instead of encouraging, we felt single out . She is not professional at all by laughing at us with another coach. However, the issue goes beyond that. She doesn’t make you feel welcome or supported, especially when you ask for clarification or guidance on exercises. My family and I felt dismissed and uncomfortable when we sought help or instruction.
What’s even more concerning is that I’ve learned multiple members have raised similar complaints over the years, but the owner has kept this coach employed. It’s disheartening to see that customer feedback hasn’t been taken seriously, as it’s clear that this coach’s approach is not in line with what many people want in a supportive fitness environment. I truly believe the gym could be a much better place if the owner listened to the concerns of members and made necessary changes. Until then, I can’t fully recommend it.

One of my favorite CrossFit gyms I've visited yet! (and I have been to hundreds of gyms across the country) The coaching and programming were fantastic, plenty of space to workout, and a super welcoming community! Everyone I met was super friendly! Whether you are new to CrossFit (or fitness in general) or a seasoned veteran, if you live in the area 100% check out CF Krypton! You'll be challenged and coached by the best!

Traveled here for the Kryton Games and had a blast! I got to meet Ben and Alec Smith, who were extremely nice. The gym was well organized, and all of the equipment was nice. The staff and coaches were also extremely nice and helpful. They all answered every questions that any of the competitors had. Would definitely recommend this gym to anyone!

I bring my kids (7f 9m) for kids CrossFit class. They have lots of fun, get good exercise, and I like that they are around a good gym and good people. Like, theyre learning young that taking care of yourself is a normal thing to do

Dropped into this gym while I was working in the Chesapeake area for the week. This gym is AMAZING. The staff and athletes were very welcoming. The workouts were challenging/rewarding and the atmosphere is exactly what you want out of a gym. If I lived in this area I would 100% go here.

A little background so that you can see if this review is right for you. Age – in my 50s, been doing Crossfit for going on 6 months, started 2 to 3 days a week now shoot for 5 each week, prior to Crossfit I was a long distance runner for many years, no background in Olympic weight lifting or gymnastics, struggled with being overweight (250+) for most of my adult life. Was I intimidated to go to the Crossfit Box (gym) for the first time? Absolutely! What have I learned? There is no need to be intimidated about going to Crossfit. If you have good coaches, they know how to scale the workouts to meet anybody at their current ability level. The workouts are always challenging, but you feel a great sense of accomplishment when they are done. You put in hard work and you get results.I travel a bit for work and have visited many Crossfit boxes (gyms). This is what I think sets Krypton apart from the others.1) The coaches at Krypton are incredible! I have to give a shout out to those coaches I typically work with. Thanks to Tori, Dave, Tom, and Josh. All of them push me and give me advice to help me learn the many techniques of Crossfit. I am impressed that they know everyone’s name after the first time they meet them. You will not find a better group of coaches. A little about each: Tori has a background in nutrition. She can help you meet your nutritional goals. Tom does a fun warm-up activity for “Fun Friday”. It is an awesome way to start the day. Josh has really pushed me with my form for lifts. I can’t thank him enough. Dave programs a masters workout (35 and above) that is one of my favorite workouts of the week. I call it Dave’s killer workout. It is always challenging, but so much fun! I look forward to it!2) Programming – The programming is done by Ben Smith. If you don’t know Ben, he has won many crossfit events. He is also one of the most humble, nicest people you can meet. The workouts are amazing and will get you in the best shape of your life. Now that I am in the latter half of my life, I finally have a shot of having a six pack that’s not from Budweiser.3) The People- The people I work out with are amazing. I am one of the slowest, weakest members of the group; but they don’t judge. They offer advice, encouragement, and motivation. I am thankful for the crossfitters at Krypton.4) Technology – As part of your membership you get access to a tracker where you can track all of your workouts and improvements. They also provide a tool to see the schedule and register for classes.5) Some of the superstars from Crossfit work out here. You can learn a lot by watching their technique and work effort. They are also down to earth people that will give you advice to help you on your journey. If you are on the fence about trying crossfit, I recommend you sign up for a free class and check it out. I think you will be delightfully surprised. My only regret is that I didn’t sign up years ago.

Can't believe I think rate this place when i lived there. This gym is incredible. The owners have created a space that is inclusive and calm. Was great to visit this last weekend and see some old faces, and some new ones. Definitely one of my favorite crossfit gyms I've ever gotten to be a part of ?

It’s much more than a gym! Krypton is a caring community of athletes, from newbie to pro. The coaches and members support each other inside the gym walls and beyond.
