Had to go out of town for a family emergency earlier this week 11/6. I knew that I needed new tires and and oil change. Under the circumstances and due to it being last minute, I was expecting to have to pay a lot for these services. Now, I've been coming to this shop for over 15 years. The service have always been great. This time the service was exceptional!!! I was helped by Travis. I briefly explained my situation and he did his magic!!!! He did everything possible to make sure that while on my travels, it would be as safe as reasonably possible. I got the best rated tires in the shop, an oil change, all fluids topped and some other services for the greatest price anyone could ever imagine. All these services were provided and my vehicle was in and out the door in about an hour. I have never felt safer on the road, especially traveling with my adult daughter and three grandkids. Phenomenal customer service skills Travis! Thank you and the rest of the team for making this happen!!!

I took my car in for an around Late August - Early September timeframe. It Failed the state inspections because ONE headlight is holding water, and the airbag light was on (law has changed for this). I leave right after I get the car back and park it at my house because I am leaving to go on orders. Fast forward to today (2 Nov 2023) I am still on orders and HAVE NOT driven the car since I parked. All-in-All a few miles. I have my fiancé take it in and they tell me the front lower motor mount is broken, both headlights (which were fine before) now need to be restored, and the rear shock has magically started leaking. I am now waiting for their estimation to fix which is usually around 1500 even though all these parts come up to about 70 dollars. I will ask for a cost breakdown to include labor and products when I do get this. I will be speaking with George once I get back about the service of this place. It has been in a constant decline. I have been using them for about 10 years for all 8 of my family vehicles but it looks like I may be at a lost on this one.Parts Total: 103.98Labor Total: 411.50 (145.00 for airbag light test. Went to AutoZone and bought the piece to read this for a little bit over 40 dollars. Also got quotes from 3 mobile mechanics and they all charge 70 dollars for this. Testing to see the outrages charges they have.) Rest of labor is to replace the rear shock, motor (engine) mount, and restore headlights.Headlight restoration kit is around 10 bucks at any store. Motor mount around 30 bucks. Rear shock around 40 dollars. Not it is time for some YouTube Mechanicking!

The prices here are very reasonable and the employees are super friendly and professional. Got my truck in and out with no issues or hassle. Definitely will come back again!

Used to be great but the service and responsiveness is no longer what it used to be. I’ve had a vehicle up there for 24 hours with no update, I’ve called twice for an update and the folks answering the phones don’t seem to know what’s going on. I’ll probably have to look around to see if there is a better shop, that is retaining its employees. You guys used to be 5 stars for decades! What a shame.

Great service! Was able to get in me for a tire change last minute and waited maybe 20 minutes when everywhere else was either too busy or just turned me away. And they had much better prices and even told me of another possible issue with my car without pressuring me or trying to up-sell me. I will easily come back here for whatever I need as long as I’m living in Virginia.

I don’t do this often but I felt the need to reward the folks at Dellingers and let them know how pleased I was with their service my last visit. They have always been friendly but this time something was different. EVERYONE from the front counter to the back counter had a smile on their face. It really made me happy to see that and to feel welcomed by their smiling faces. Then the service time wait wasn’t the usual 1-2 days either. The guys in service were able to get me right in. Both of them (Jim and Don) were friendly and made my day as well. Looks like good things are happening for them and I’m happy to see that! Keep up the great work!!

I’ve been to Dellinger’s Tire on several occasions to have maintenance and repairs done on my vehicles! Each time, I’ve been extremely pleased with the level of service and help from the team! The manager, Scot, was especially helpful in explaining the work that needed to be done.

They do honest work here. I don't live close to this one anymore but I still come here for oil leaks. If you have a gm vehicle this is a good place to go. I've brought my car here for rework from other places that didnt do well with fixing my vehicle.

They are always friendly. My dad recommended that I get my car inspected at this business for my first inspection. I am trusting them with my car again. They are great for when you need an immediate inspection. Just leave your car in the evening and they will put your car in line to get taken care of.

Dropped the truck off early in the morning for an alignment. Guaranteed it was going to be completed by close of business. The vehicle was never touched. I stopped in a few minutes before they closed to pick the vehicle up because I had to work the following day. I would recommend somewhere else in Hampton Roads.

0 stars. Dellinger’s Auto completed shock/strut service on my father’s truck. They said it was “late in the evening” “close to closing” and did not call him to pick it up. They moved the vehicle off the property and parked it on the street. That evening someone cut the catalytic converter off. The next day when they called my dad to pick it up, the person working the desk said there was nothing they could do…. their insurance does not cover vehicles off the property and that my father should file an insurance claim under his policy. Lazy. If it was late, as they claim, it’s not like they were going to start on another vehicle immediately and thus needed to move my father’s vehicle out to the street. Bad customer service. Own it. This was 100% preventable.

Not great and not the worst. Don’t expect them to to call you when your car is ready. We were told the car was ready twice when we called for an update and they said yes. So I wasted the time and gas to drive out to get the car just to find out it in fact was not done. This happened twice and gas is not cheap! The technician did a great job though.Update: Regional manager reached out to apologize and correct the miscommunication. I am 100% satisfied with his resolution approach and appreciate the fact that he took the time to listen to what I had to say.

I've been taking my car to Dellinger's Auto for state inspection for years, and I've always been happy with the service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they always explain the inspection process in detail. I've never had any problems with my car passing inspection, and I always feel confident that I'm getting a fair price.Recently, I took my car in for an inspection and was told that I needed new brakes. I was a little hesitant to spend the money, but the mechanic explained that it was important to get them replaced as soon as possible. He also offered me a free loaner car while my car was being worked on.I'm so glad that I decided to get the brakes replaced. My car drives so much better now, and I feel much safer on the road. I would definitely recommend Dellinger's Auto to anyone who needs a state inspection or any other car repair work. Here are some of the things that customers like about Dellinger's Auto for VA state inspection:Friendly and knowledgeable staffThorough inspection processFair pricesFree loaner carsIf you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy place to get your car inspected, Dellinger's Auto is a great option.
