I recently stopped by to take a look around and I was pleasantly surprised to see a well organized store that offers goods at fair prices. The staff were friendly and helpful with questions about their products. I had an overall positive experience.

I visited this store today 1/27 to pick up 3 small items for which I didn’t need a basket. So I paid for my items and left the store. Afterwards, I’m sitting in my car getting ready to leave and an employee name Melinda came up to my car. She said they watched the camera and wanted to make sure I didn’t have any open lighters or trash in my basket (which didn’t make sense to me) because I didn’t even have a basket. I felt like she was insinuating that I was stealing.I felt extremely offended. And to make it worse my child was with me. Please make sure if you confront someone, make sure you have your facts straight. This was an awful experience and this is the worse dollar general I have visited

clean store and usually have items in stock that are on sale however alot of coupons do not ring up can be frustrating most likely corrected by management line is usually long due to one register only taking cash all employees are friendly and helpful except one lady named Malina she is not helpful and can very argumentative have had bad experiences with her on more than one occasion i have decided not to make this my go to to store for that reason

Everytime I come in this store prices advertised never ring up right. This is a convenient location by my house however nothing on sale rings up right. It is such a headache and the app too sucks for discounts. But the people are friendly. Just wish prices would ring up right.

September 20, 2022 I was in the store to purchased three (boxes) of Alka seltzer gel tablet for my mother in-law. They’re not available in Walgreens so I elected to check the Dollar General. This was my first time shopping in the store. A young gentleman helped me find the product. Stood in line to checkout then proceeded to have my purchased finalized. After paying for the items the register printer malfunctioned. It will not print my receipt. The gentleman who offer assistance in findint the prodant to fix the problem. It’s taken several minutes. A customer was waiting to be serviced as well and I don’t want to inconvenience anyone. I finally told both employees (two men) not to worry. I left the store without receipt. September 26, 2022, I went back to return two boxes of Alka Zeltzer because my mother in-law only needs one (1). I explained to the young girl (cashier) I didn’t have the receipt because the register printer malfunctioned the day I purchased them. She called the store manager (female manager) for assistance. She came to the register and I explained to her that the register malfunctioned therefore I didn’t have the receipt. She then blurted out in a loud manner “I can’t refund you the amount without a receipt”. That’s after explaining that it wasn’t my fault your register malfunctioned. Anyway, she then said you’re going to find items that will cost the same amount of your purchased because I can’t give you cash back. So I went to look for items to match the amount I paid for the medicine. I found Tide (laundry detergent and Dawn dishwashing soap). Went back stood in line only to be yelled at that the items is not enough. The female manager once again reiterated in a very loud manner, “I can’t get you cash back without a receipt!” I finally had enough with her low class behavior and scolded her for treating me like i stole the medicine. I informed her how disappointed I am with her low class behavior and for making me run around in trying to find products in order to coincide the amount of my original purchased. That was by far the most low class customer service I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. I used my debit card for the items. I told the manager I don’t have a problem purchasing items to coincide the total amount of my original purchased. I’m more furious if the way she keeps reiterating her statement in a very loud manner do other customers can hear and made me feel embarrassed. “I can’t give you cash back without a receipt!” This was after I’m still short few dollars with my purchase. The manager had me go back to find items for the third time, stood in line for the third time. Finally. It cost me only $4 more because I had to pick the most expensive paper towels (Scott) because I was too embarrassed of how I was treated by the manager. All I want is to get out of there and not come back. I’m a professional banker, i work for the bank for 20 years in the commercial lending. I can honestly say, this is not how we treat clients/customers the way I was treated. I wasn’t going to waste my time to write this but I think it’s worth sharing. Keep in mind bad customer service is a contributing factors to losing customers. Be mindful of your words. Without clients/customers, your store will not thrive. In other words, you don’t have a paycheck. Zero rate for the female manager.

The store on Battlefield Blvd is by far the cleanest and most organized that I've been to. I've been to other locations and found the lack of organization very unsettling. I'm always greeted when I walk in the store. There is a woman that works there (I don't know her name but she has a foreign accent) who is extremely pleasant. It's obvious she has pride in the appearance of her store. Just wanted to send a shout out to this location because it's the only store I will shop at.

I have noticed that Dollar General does not rotate stock, also found a lot of items expired. From now on I check the dates on everything. Besides that good store.

Tried to purchase a visa gift card with my bank card and was told i couldnt because of there store policy i could only use cash, it made no sense because i could have just did debit he claims something about people canceling transaction or it not going through all the way ...this had nothing to do with me and should not be a store policy that will lose Visa customers because of something that is not his concern or business.

This location is fantastic. The store is always clean and fully stocked. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The parking is simple. I recently moved very close by and this will be my Dollar General on a regular for my quick shopping.

Normally, I enjoy this location but today turned me off to ever stepping foot in DG again. Verbally assaulting a customer is not ok. The male cashier was a complete abusive a-hole and I am shocked that they allow this behavior. His temper was downright frightening!

Friendly staff. I did notice some patrons and the clerk at the register wearing their mask BELOW THEIR NOSES!!! I had mine on correctly so.... Otherwise nice place to shop.

Only one cashier so that slowed checkout quite a bit. There were other workers on the floor who could have helped out.
