As I was checking out my 100 items by myself while an employee watched me a few items were 5 dollars. This place sucks now I'm sorry. Yall ruined the dollar tree.

Jacquelyn, the lady with the jamaican accent is very rude and nasty. I bought a frozen jimmy dean breakfast egg stuffed biscuit for $3 and when I got home I noticed that it was expired for months ! I went back to replace it with the same product and would you know the ENTIRE jimmy dean product was expired ! Who knows how many people bought the same thing and ate it. So I go back to this same rude lady who, with a smart and loud tone like she was right, “you’re not getting a refund, go pick something else!”. I had already picked up 2 bags of cheetos to replace the item with even though I would miss out on .50 because I was already dissatisfied with her disgusting behavior and wanted to get out of there. So she tells me I have to pick one thing and I break down the math for her so that she’ll understand that I’m still not getting my money’s worth back, that the 2 items were as close as I could get to the value of the expired product. She then snaps at me and tells me to give her my receipt so she can see like I’m lying and can’t count. Then hands it back with the same nasty attitude because she looked as awful as she acts. This location used to be great but I’ll go out of my way to go somewhere else. The customer service is horrible here.

Piss poor customer service from the cashier and manager today. No line open and a long wait at self check registers. I had a gift card. Used self check out to check out for my other items and when it was time to check out the gift card I asked for assistance from cashier that was filling balloons. She popped an attitude and said I had to get in line to pay for gift card. What line? There wasn’t any. Then she said she was opening one. Well great but I’ve already checked my items, just need a cashier to validate the gift card at register. She tells me I’ll have to get in the line she just opened. Ok, can I have priority to get in line after your next customer since I already waited in line? Nope, I would have to wait all over again. Spoke to the manager who states that if I would have let a cashier or her know I had a gift card, they would have opened a line. Oh really, where does it state that in writing? Customer service at its worse from top to bottom.
