I went to DTLR today for some quick shopping today before a trip and upon walking into the store the 3 women employees in there were in deep conversation about nothing that had anything to do with work. None of them acknowledged me said hello, can I help you or anything. I actually had to interrupt there conversation to get some attention.So for the lack of customer service the staff working 8-7-24 closing receives a whopping score of 0! Second of all the store doesn't have anywhere to try on your clothes and the policy is no returns even if you pay cash. So the customer has to be inconvenienced and walk to the bathroom to try on their clothes and if they don't fit just get a credit. I see where there customer service comes from the policy makers! These matters will not go unaddressed I will be contacting the district manager in reference to the unprofessional mannerisms of the staff. Oh and did I say the young lady speaking to me was speaking to me in a tone like I was bothering her. This was bad all the way around...... Id rather drive way out to hampton than to ever go back in that store again!

I went in the store in Chesapeake Square February 11 2024 @ 230pm the employees were so rude. There was no line waited at the register 10 min while one employee was on her phone and at the register. Did not greet us. Finally a employee with a bunch of face piercing rang up my stuff we asked about the 10 percent but said it was too late to give the discount. Even tho i did not put the pin in for my debit card. Hire better employees.

DTLR as a whole is terrible. I ordered some pants online that were to be shipped to the store. Online they were supposedly on clearance and I paid $30 for these pants. When they arrived, they had a price tag on them with a clearance sticker that said $19.99. I can't tell u how angry I was. Not only that, but they didn't even fit properly. Whats worse, is that they dont pay for return shipping, you have to. So, by the time I would have gone through all the trouble and paid for shipping, I would have been paying more than the pants were even worth. That was probably their goal.When I went to pick up the pants at this location, it was full of high schoolers "working ". Everyone was standing together laughing and playing, doing the same job that didn't look like it should have taken everyone to do it. The girl behind the desk looked a little bit older and she was on her phone the whole time. She wasn't polite when she was helping me and the boy that brought me my pants from the back wasn't either. I will not be giving my money to DTLR online or in store again. I suggest noone else does either.

This location is the worst the worker's walking around in there are mainly young people they need to be trained on customer services skills. Because they don't have none very rude and lack of communication skills. Don't know who the manager is but they need to find worker's that's willing to do there job. If i could give no stars i would

**Beware**Beware of making online purchases and paying with PayPal from this location. There are some scammers working here. I returned a pair of shoes that were purchased online using PayPal. They then used my PayPal info/card associated with my PayPal acct. to make curbside purchases at a Best Buy in Va Beach. It was traced back to a worker here. Luckily the purchase was canceled before it was scheduled to be picked up.. they were trying to buy 2 pair of AirPod Pro’s.
