Excellent work!!!! Our home exterior is **** ********* Brandon comes out annually to inspect the exterior. This year, he found the beginnings of a moisture issue. His crew came out and repaired the problem area, having to rebuild a column on the house. After they had completed the job, you would never have known they had repaired the area. It was perfect!! We highly recommend B K Williams!!!

If it wasn't a requirement to give a rating, I would leave it blank!!! I requested to have a custom-made chest (like the dresser type) made for my husband's retirement commemorating his 35-years of active naval service. I met with the owner, Mr. Jim Darlass, in February 2015 and provided him with my personal design, medals, and everything that he would require to create what would become a family heirloom. At the initial meeting, we discussed my design and agreed on various changes that would create a better product. I was quoted a price of $2,000.00 and because of the wood, workmanship, and time required to complete the project, I agreed. Mr. Darlass was advised that this chest must be completed prior to my husband's retirement ceremony being held on May 1st. Around mid-March, I realized that a simple change was needed and I stopped in to talk with Mr. Darlass and let him know. When he learned of this minor change, his response was extremely rude and demeaning as though he was put out though he had yet to even begin working on the chest. When the ceremony got closer, I called to check on the progress and it STILL had not been started. It was not until a few days prior to the retirement ceremony that it was ready. Unfortunately, when a friend and I went to pick it up, I discovered immediately that an engraved word was spelled incorrectly. This would not be a big deal except the error was OBVIOUS to anyone looking. I told Mr. Darlass that this needed to be corrected but as he had waited until the very last minute to complete the chest and the ceremony was the very next day, there was no time for it to be fixed. In fact, my friend and I had to assist him in getting the chest finished so that we would be able to take it with us that day. Once again, Mr. Darlass was extremely rude and just plain ugly. There is much more to this story in regards to making the corrections we needed but it doesn't get any better. Bottom line is this: $2,000.00 is not chump change and even if a customer is paying $50.00, the customer would expect to be treated with respect, courtesy, and receive a quality product. I do NOT and WILL NEVER recommend Esteemed Woodcrafts to anyone unless they have no problem being berated and disrespected.
