I'm a new customer to this location as of a few weeks ago. Shaun, Simone, Precious and the other staff have been very accommodating, professional and well-versed on my vehicle's needs during each visit. Exceptional service, integrity, and trustworthiness. I had an issue with my 2015 Honda Civic Hybrid (I will avoid buying another Hybrid in the future). My son was advised at another shop that his A/C Compressor was going bad. However, that shop would not work on the car as they do not work on Hybrids. This seems to be a common trend with most garages.
Normally I would have let this go as the car will still run without the Compressor minus A/C, unless the bearing seized. My son’s company sent him to work in VA, and I live in NC as he does. He not only needs the vehicle to get to work, but there are instances when he will come home. I did not want to take the chance on the car failing, stranding him somewhere between NC and VA. I called Firestone on 1545 Ring Road in Chesapeake VA. I talked with Precious and she said her store had no problems working on the Honda.
I drove to VA and followed my son to the store. Precious greeted me as I entered the establishment. She was very courteous and professional. She also took the time to call many different places so she could provide me with the best deal on parts without sacrificing quality. Later that evening she called with an estimate that was more than fair. She provided daily updates until the car was repaired. I was in NC when the car was ready for pickup. My son gets off work at 4:30pm but still had time to pick up the car at Firestone before it closed at 7:00pm. They are open on Saturday and Sunday as well.
If you are not using the services provided by Firestone Complete Auto Care in Chesapeake VA, you may as well open the hood of your vehicle and throw money at your engine, it will be cheaper than wasting your money by using another garage.

I frequently get serviced at Firestone but this is my first time at this location and the service was absolutely amazing. The staff went above and beyond to take care of my needs. I was properly educated and well informed regarding today’s service and future services needed. Shawn (store manager), Simone (front desk), and Jean (tech) were are extremely helpful and transparent. This location will certainly be my first preference going toward.

I was happy with there work on my rear rotors and breaks. It's was cheaper then another location and they use higher quality parts then another Firestone location. I am thankful for good service.
If there was room for improvement it would be addressing current issues with car. I have a maintance light on, fortunately advanced auto helped me with that.

As always, I have received service at two Firestone locations, previously in GA and now in VA. Firestone is the best! I look forward to obtaining routine and necessary car care with your company. From the desk representatives to the technicians, I have only excellent positive comments to share. During my last car service on Oct 28, 2025, I appreciated my interaction with Symone at the desk; she was pleasant and professional, as are all the people whom I have spoken with. The atmosphere is very professional. They not only do requested maintenance service, but perform courtesy checks while doing the service. They update you as they perform on more technical services.

Very mediocre services and a Huge lack of Effective communication(s) with Customer. I will never ever returned at this facility for anything. It is a true shame as it has very good installations, however the Human resources, isn't worth a penny.

Shaun Harrell is the guy you are most likely to meet at the door. He is perceptive and down to earth. Exceptional customer service skills! No pressures to do anything that might not be in your current budget. I have 29 years of military service and no affiliation with him personally. I felt sincerity and understanding immediately. Make this your new home for car maintenance. I can say with a great deal of certainty that you will feel the same.

I came in for an inspection and they found a couple issues. Instead of slapping a rejection sticker on my vehicle, Mr. Shaun Harrell was able to diligently work with me towards a solution that was best for my vehicle and my well being. I do recommend this particular firestone.

Let me start by saying I have been a Firestone customer since 1997. I had an appt on Sat Oct 18th at the shop on Battlefield Blvd to patch a tire before driving out of town for a family event. Long story short, they didn't honor my appt and said it would be 5-6 hrs before they could get to me. I left very upset with no repair. Saturdays are very busy for auto shops and I drove to 4 different places (not Firestone) and they all were booked.
I called the Firestone on Ring Rd praying they could help me. I spoke to a kind gentleman named Robert Moore and explained my terrible situation. Robert was VERY empathetic and said even though their store was busy, he’d be happy to fit me in. WOW!
The mechanic took pictures of all 4 tires. Both rear tires had nails in them and couldn’t be patched because of their location. My front tires were badly worn and beginning to separate which would’ve resulted in a blowout. I didn’t know the condition of my tires were so bad! I began to panic because I knew I couldn’t have a set of new tires installed. The tires on my vehicle are custom and need to be ordered which typically takes a few days. Keep in mind at this point my stress is increasing because I was already supposed to be on the road.
Again, Robert was very empathetic to my situation and asked me to wait while he called his Store Manager Shaun Harrell. I couldn’t believe what happened next! Robert told me they had a set of my specific tires at their warehouse in Norfolk and offered to go pick them up and bring them back to Chesapeake. His manager Shaun happened to be at the warehouse and delivered them to the shop in less than 30 minutes.UNBELIEVABLE! I was on the road 45 min later (safely) and no longer stressed and overwhelmed.
The outstanding and compassionate service I received from Robert, Shaun, and the mechanic that installed my tires (I wish I knew his name) was by far the BEST experience I’ve ever had and I’m so grateful for that.Thank you so much!
I had the pleasure of meeting the service manager, Shawn Kennedy this morning for an oil change and state inspection. He knew about my situation last weekend and was glad everything worked out. I was in and out in an hour and couldn’t be happier! I’m so glad I went to this store. It’s farther away from my house but definitely worth the drive.
It’s funny how customers are quick to write negative reviews but often fail to take the time and share positive experiences…I couldn’t wait to share mine! ?

Shaun the store manager, Precious and the entire team were Amazing with the level of care they displayed throughout the entire process. They communicated with me every stop of the way. They explained the process so that I understand everything my vehicle needed. Professional, courteous and patient... all the qualities you look for when you're spending money.
I highly recommend this location for all of your automotive needs.
I had a tune-up, replaced a battery, brakes, struts assembly, alignment, and a few other things done. They will always get my business!

I brought my car in for a state inspection. Mr. Jean did an excellent and wonderful job during inspection. Mr. Jean is very professional. He is respectful and honest to his customers and has a positive attitude. Anyone who needs a vehicle to be service, this Firestone is the place. Thank you, Mr. Jean!

Outstanding Customer Service!!!
I arrived at Greenbrier Firestone very stressed. The Store Manager Shaun Harrell, greeted me with a smile and reassurance that my car issues would be addressed and to expect a call as soon as they performed a detailed diagnostic. True to his word, Shawn Kennedy, the Service Manager called me just a few hours later. Patient and kind, Shawn explained in detail my car repairs and cost. By the the end of the conversation, I was not stressed and I understood how the process would go. As if that was not enough, going above and beyond, the Techinical Bulletins dealing with my make and model, that I was NOT aware of, were explained to me. Knowledge is power...and I was well informed about my vehicle. Throughout my car repair process, anytime I had questions, Precious, another member of the Greenbrier Firestone team did an AMAZING job to ensure I was fully informed.
I'm feeling better than ever, as I'm driving away in my vehicle. Worry free and relaxed!
I highly recommend the Greenbrier Firestone Team. Shaun Harrell and his team of highly trained professionals will not disappoint!!! I will be using them as my permanent car maintenance and repair team. Hope to see you there!
