HORRIBLE SERVICE! Day 1: 8:15 AM appointment for oil change, tire rotation, and determine source of burning smell. Service manager notifies me at 3:53 PM that the valve cover gaskets need to be replaced. I approve repair. Day 2: 4:54 PM I contact Service Manager...where is my car? 4:55 PM Service Manager calls me back...work not yet completed. I have to ask...why wasn't I informed of the valve cover gaskets needing to be replaced at 9:00 AM on Day 1? Why was I not notified until 3:53 PM? Why has this taken 2 FULL days? This is absolutely unacceptable. I have been doing business with First Team Toyota for 4 years. Something has gone terribly wrong with their Service Department. This is outrageous.

My first coming here to buy a car for my brother. My brother doesn't speak English, so I was the person who translated and helped with the whole process. I was told the car that I wanted wasn't there. I had to wait 1 month. I deposited $1,000. I spent hours doing paperwork. The paperwork didn't go through yet, and they sold the car to someone else.

A lifetime free oil change is very appealing. Fast forward, I brought my car to be serviced on the Sept. 9. I received my free oil change but received a $40 charge for a tire rotation. I wasn't amused with the $40 charged. As I spoke to the manager (Neil) on site. He said, "We have to rotate your tires to get your free oil" as stated in the contract. As per contract that I blindly signed I asked him, "What is the relationship between the oil change and tire rotation?" He said, "nothing." Therefore, the so called "free oil" is a bait because they tied the oil change and tire rotation together in order for them to charge me $40 every time I bring my car for oil change. Obviously this is a way to make up their expenses (oil/ filter). To charge $40 to rotate tires of a compact car is unreasonably pricey and I must say under the guise of preventive maintenance. Here is another one, even if it is time for me to replace my tires to other store they still have to rotate my tires. Beware to a dealer that will say, "free this and free that." Lifetime free oil change caveat lifetime tire rotation charge. Indeed there is no such as free lunch. A very disappointed first time customer. This will be the last and will never recommend.

We purchased our Highlander from First Team Toyota. It was a great experience and every single time I have been back in for required maintenance, state inspection etc. I have never met a group of people as nice as the ones in the main offices. Every single person that I spoke to was so sweet and kind and helpful. The service team is a bit more harried, but alway kind and proficient. I am so glad we purchased from First Team Toyota and I would do it again.

Brought my car to have the hub bearing unit warrantied. After picking up my vehicle and starting a 7 hour road trip, my vehicle felt as if it was going to completely fall apart. Toyota of Alexandria looked at my car the next day showing me 3 of the studs that should have torqued nuts holding my control arm together. 2 of the nuts completely missing and the 3rd only on by a couple of threads. Now a year later the hub bearing is going bad again, and the part is on national back order and Toyota is making me be held responsible for the parts and labor because they can't get a Toyota OEM part. Obviously not my fault and they are shoving their mistakes on the customers. I have bought 4 vehicles here and they have lost a customer for life after this

*of note, if I could give this service department a 0/5 review - I would. I have had the unfortunate pleasure of take mine and my husband's car to First Team Toyota's service department multiple times and each time I am surprised that customer service could get worse with each visit. Multiple times the service desk has forgotten to call or update me on my car, requiring me to call and request an update after our car has been at their facility for close to 7 hours. I have even had to physically go back to the department to get an update when I received no call back and their end of business day was approaching. The latest blunder has occurred after we dropped off one of the cars at 7 am for a 10:30 appointment to get the tire check out because it was continuously leaking air and we suspected a nail/hole. By 4 pm we had still not received an update, so we attempted to call but we were only able to leave a voicemail. After 30 minutes, we decided to go up ourselves since they close at 6 PM. When we arrived we were in shock to find that they had not even looked at our car yet! They proceeded to check it out and confirm that we had a nail in the tire and it needed to be replaced. Nearly 30 minutes later they informed us they couldn't change the tire because they didn't have it in stock and after an additional 30 minutes they were still unable to put the spare on. We ultimately decided to leave the car there and adjusted our schedules for work to accommodate the tire to be put on the next morning. We were assured the car would be done and ready by 11 AM. The next day we waited for the call that the car was complete, however we are told around 1:30 that they still did not have the tire and had not worked on the car yet. By 4 PM we finally received an update that they received the tire, but it took another 1.5 hours for the tire to be swapped. We have previously come to Toyota First Team because of the free oil changes/tire rotation deal we received with the purchase of the car, however the price we save on these services are not worth the stress, hassle and time of dealing with this service department. I would HIGHLY encourage anyone needing their car repaired to go elsewhere.

Got a appointment for a 30k mile service. When I called I needed to install some seat covers I had gotten for Christmas they said they would throw them on for free. When I got there they said they wouldn't do it. I left getting nothing done. Was also going to buy a car when they were working on my car 2022 Camry, But since they didn't do the seat covers they missed out on selling me a new Truck. Will go next weekend to another dealer to buy my truck.

Brought my car in for a oil change (to abide by the rules for the life time warranty). The car was dropped off at around 9am. Then I was told it wouldn't count unless I got the $30 tire rotation. This doesn't make sense, being that my car is front wheel drive. The best tires need to always be on the front for maximum control of the vehicle. Im used to replacing my tires in pairs, this would make me have to replace all four when the time comes. Come 5pm (when they're closing) nothing has been done to the car, and I've waisted a day waiting for just a (required) oil change. I could change my own oil, but that would waist the 10k I spent on the lifetime warranty. Bottom line, the warranty is useless and walk-ins aren't being attended to until the end of the day anyways. If you can do basic repairs on your car, you're better off getting a third party warranty. Trust, you'll save a lot of money and time. Only bring it if you have an appointment, and there's no guarantee that will be done in a timely manner.

Run. This place is a nightmare. I came in and waited in line to speak to a service associate. There were a few women running around and none of them bothered to say hi or acknowledge there were customers lined up. When I finally came up to speak the lady gave me an absurd excuse that since my TPMS light is on they will need to run a diagnostic which will cost $250 plus another $100 per tire but they recommend replacing all since the tire pressure monitor batteries piggy back off each other so in all it's $800. Okay so why was I quoted $60 a tire at Discount Tire ($300 for all 4) and it was a one minute free check which sensor was out which was all 3 and why TF are you still charging me $250 to check when I already said 3 are out?? They just play games here. That's why all the customers left without service and that dealership is dead quiet at this location.

Sales experience was fantastic for my new Tundra. I have been back twice for different services and had bad experiences both times. Service staff is unfriendly and not helpful in any way.

I hate to even give them the one star. This dealership has no morals or credibility. Every dealing I had with them was a nightmare and they top it off by luring to you about their warranties and try to tap dance verbally around the lie never taking responsibility. Do yourself a favor go anywhere else even mom and pop dealerships would have you better off 3 blown engines all their service departments fault then getting lied to about coverage on brand new vehicles they really take the cake on garbage dealerships

Terribly run dealership. Don't go here. Had an appointment at 8 AM for a check engine light and was told that it would be done by the afternoon. Received no phone calls with updates or anything, I left a voicemail that evening hoping they would call back in the morning with something. Received no update in the morning, I called again in the morning and finally got ahold of his coworker who updated me saying the truck was having trouble and they couldn't figure out the diagnostic yet. A full DAY LATER, they stated that they're backed up and didn't have time to get to it into diagnostic so they lied about it. Finally I went to just pick up my truck instead of waiting for their lies and BS and they said they hooked it up but didn't have results. Do NOT go to this dealer, I've never wasted so much time and gotten zero results. They lie to you and waste your time.

I had got my car repaired here and they had told me their work has a lifetime warranty. They are liars about their warranty. They tried to say I hit something that knocked this out of place when I didn't hit anything. There is no scratches underneath the car. I had another Toyota look at this and they said it said definitely them. I will say again THEY DO NOT HONOR WARRANTY! They do not provide quality work!
