Really hurt me to my heart that me and my family didn't get help , I stayed in the shelter for 6 months and they act as if didn't want me to get help, May God soften they heart for people who really need help verse people they want to get help !

Forkids has helped me and my children in so many ways .. not just one. So for me to just point out one thing is impossible. Forkids and the staff is just like family. It is very welcoming and the staff is very understanding of your situation. They understand that you are only human as well. They definitely give help if they can. They don't just help tho. They empower and push you to your potential ... Thank you Forkids staff for all you do!

Back in 2016 my husband, baby and myself went to this organization asking for help to get housing. We were under the impression it would be something like government housing. They had us sign up for an apartment we couldn’t afford thinking they would help. We got evicted two months later because we couldn’t afford car, rent, utilities, food, baby essentials all at once. We had moved from cities at the time and we hadn’t been approved for food stamps or childcare so only one of us could work. Wished we would’ve stayed in shelters instead.

This is not only a beautiful structure, it is also a place with a positive mission. They provide assistance for families in need of services. They provide tutoring services, clothes, meals, and other resources.

They dont care you do your part and they say they will advocate for you but they wont. The staff you work with goes missing in action no one is consistent there at all. Heather told me she Would advocate regarding the carpet in my unit no luck she could care less. The other lady who was suppose to assist in putting me in a program I spoke to her and never heard from her again. They all go missing unless you reach out to them.
