Good place to get your haircut. You can check in online, but I was able to get a nice walk-in appointment. They got me in in 10 minutes. Will go again

don’t bother coming to this location it’s Saturday. They have one stylist 10 open chairs five people waiting kind of the norm. They need to hire more people.

Last haircut (Elizabeth City location) was not great but ..... Gayle at the Chesapeake Edinburgh location is AMAZING. She brought back the style I love. From now on, it's Gayle only!

Stylist: Gail is the best kept secret in all of the Hampton Roads/Tidewater area. I've been to several expensive, top-notch salons in Norfolk and Va.Beach, and paid a pretty penny for good haircuts. But one day, on a whim, I decided to do a little touch-up on myself. After only a few cuts, I began spiraling into a full-blown panic attack. I got the heat waves all down my body followed by pins and needles, and then the deep, heavy breathing started. I knew I needed to get it fixed right away, or I was going to throw up. Of course, the places I would usually go didn't have anything available for days. So I drove to Great Clips in Edenburgh and signed in. I only had to wait about 10 minutes max. First of all, Gail didn't shame me or make me feel embarrassed. She actually said it wasn't that bad. Then she SHOWED me how she was going to fix it rather than just grabbing her scissors and cutting away. I kid you not, that was the best damn haircut I ever got. AND, she was starting at a disadvantage because of the havoc I caused. The cost was a mere fraction of what I usually pay. I went back a few more times, and her cuts are consistently good. I just went back a week ago after once again making a bad decision, and on an empty stomach at that. She got me good as new. I really didn't want to write this review because if everybody finds out about her, she might get so busy that she won't have time for me? lol. But she deserves raving reviews, and if I have to wait a little longer for a cut, then that's fine by me. Also, she is very kind and professional. Easy to be around and talk to. She will follow your lead. If you want to talk, she will be glad to oblige. But if you want to just sit decompress, she will allow you that. I never write reviews, but I'm excited that I found someone who provides top dollar service at such a reasonable price (hence the long review). Thank you, Gail
