I went last week and got a fill in, as of today which is not a full week yet, 4 nails lifted I got three fixed yesterday on which they tried to charge me to fix them but I pushed back. Today ANOTHER nail is lifting!!!! They just used extremely cheap products or the techs don’t follow proper protocol. My nails typically last at least 3 weeks but my favorite spot is too far from my new place. I am not Happy with Happy Nails. Do better

This was the worst place I have ever had a pedicure!!!! The polish was on my cuticle, the nail cut was not even and the polish on my pinky came off in 1 day. The worst do not go there!!!!!!!

I am not one that reviews places very often, however, people need to know about this place. They are highly unethical when it comes to lying to you about wait time. Additionally, they overcharged me. When I threatened to call the police for being overcharged, he gave me the amount of money that he overcharged me back. While I am glad that he gave me the amount he overcharged me back, it is very upsetting that it took for me to have to threaten to call the police for him to do so. Make sure you watch the amount they charge you!! Ask for an itemized receipt so that you can see every charge. I believe in giving businesses a second chance, and this was their second chance. Do not go to this place! There are many others in Chesapeake and Churchland that will treat you with more respect and will not sneak in additional cost for things you did not ask for.

I visited the salon after the they had changed over to a new staff. And I believe they were bought I used to always go to the same girl in there prior to this She knows I have MS and she knows that to keep the water at a certain temperature When I came in, they were very proficient and tried to make sure that I was comfortable with the water temperature and I was very happy with my pedicure and my gel nails Only after that, I realize something was wrong with my pinky finger It started to swell and be painful at the very first joint and started to have a bent shape. I had to go to the ER several times. Finally, after doing a bunch of blood work and cultures, I was referred to a hand surgeon at SMOC. and I was referred to infectious disease doctor Libby. Once I had an MRI on my pinky finger, they saw that I had osteomyelitis septic joints From the first joint in my pinky up to my knuckle It was so painful Swollen, I couldn’t bend it or move it or straighten it I had to have emergency surgery. They removed the bone tissue and drained it. I was unable to use my hand for a couple weeks. I already have MS and I don’t have an immune system due to the infusions. I take therefore my body is very sensitive. I never expected in the 30 years. I’ve got my nails done that anything like this would have happened. I am sad because now my finger is permanently dead I have to go through physical therapy and it is very painful. After my pinky toenails grew out I noticed that my they were black underneath I was told it was a fungus, and I started using an anti-fungus drops . At this point, I’ve been going through this since April it has been and I am still not finished as much as I’d like to be. I do have another appointment to find out if they’re gonna have to do surgery again on my pinky

Me and another person went to this location on Sunday June 15, 2025 to get a fill in and I got a shape changeand we also got color. We were serviced by the two younger males that work there. They were very rough when doing our nails. My nails were sore until Wednesday and by Tuesday the one layer of polish that was put on my nails was coming off. They only used a small amount of acrylic used 2 of the other person nails started to lift at the nail bed. I'm not speaking ill of this establishment as a whole because there were other customers who were ecstatic about the service they received I am speaking of our experience with the employees we encountered during our visit.

Wow what a change. New management comes on the entire building has been redone with new up to date equipment. The staff is so professional and give excellent service. I am always overjoyed with the end product it does not matter who takes care of you the service is always the same. Please come and experience this nail spa. I promise you will be more than satisfied and it will not take up your entire day!!!!😊

I visited the salon today and was immediately welcomed and seated . I came across the salon on tik tok as a very popular tech Hanna has been mentioned on my time line . I asked for a soak off and full set . I was offered water countless times . the gentleman who did my soak off was gentle and attentive . I was then moved to seat 7 and the young lady did a great job applying my nails and even fixed a nail tip that appeared to be a little off centered before applying the acrylic with no complaints . My nail job was simple , but she didn’t rush and delivered exactly what I asked .10/10 Highly recommend .
