First time I came here, my nail polish chipped not even a week later. I gave it another try, but the last time I came here, I had a concern about the polish on one of my nails and the tech dismissed it saying it was part my nail (I was getting a French tip and there was a white spot on the base) I knew it wasn’t, but I didn’t see the point in arguing since the tech was so sure it was part of my nail. A week later, polish started chipping off again. Guess what chipped off first? The white spot :) I came to this place because I wanted to feel pampered. But, for the quality of work that I got from this place, I should’ve just done it myself and save myself the stress from watching my nails get done poorly. If you value quality work, this is not the place for you.

I went in for a manicure and color change and left very disappointed. The technician’s work and attitude were both lacking. My nails and toes were done poorly, with smudged polish left around the cuticles, and I constantly had to ask her to clean it up. The finished result looks messy and unprofessional. The technician also didn’t seem happy to be there, which made the experience even more uncomfortable.
On top of that, I had requested an eyebrow wax. After making me wait over 20 minutes, they finally told me the person who does waxing wasn’t even available that day. That made no sense and was very frustrating.
Overall, I can’t justify paying $70 for this kind of service—especially when nothing was done well. To then be asked if I wanted to round it up to $100 felt completely unreasonable. I left extremely disappointed and would not recommend this place.

So glad I switched and started coming to this place. They are always so nice and the prices are very reasonable. Honestly the prices have beaten others around. Everyone is very good at their work and they take their time and you don’t feel rushed. Highly recommend! I’ve been having either Alisa or Sunny do my nails and I’ve had Don do my pedicure.

Been looking for a new nail salon came across this place after work they even stayed open a few minutes late to fit me in. They did a great job on my nails and my pedicure. I will definitely be returning.

Update: I’ve been a loyal customer of this salon for a long time and even left a glowing review just a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, I’m updating it after a really disappointing and hurtful experience on Saturday. I came in for a polish change on my toes. A few weeks ago, I had a gel pedicure done here, but within two days the polish peeled off two toenails. I didn’t come in right away—my mistake—but I returned Saturday and asked for regular polish instead.
The tech who helped me (Ken) didn’t speak English, so communication was hard. I had a cracked toenail that he wasn’t going to fix until I pointed it out and asked him to either glue it or cut it down. He did a minimal trim and glued the nail. He also didn’t believe there was gel on my toes until he tried to remove it and realized I was right. He then used a bottle of polish that was clearly too thick-it went on clumpy and uneven, and he applied three coats, which made it look even worse. When I said I wasn’t happy with how it looked, he didn't offer to fix it. Instead, I was met with excuses from the other techs:
**“It’s because it was just a polish change and not a full pedicure.”
**“You’ve had gel on too long.”
**“Your cuticles are too long, and we don’t trim them during a polish change.”
None of those are valid reasons. The polish was thick, old, and applied poorly. Period. I was charged $15 for the polish change, $5 for removing the gel (from 8 toes), and $5 to trim my nails—which weren’t filed straight. I had to refile them at home.
When I tried to explain this at checkout, the manager cut me off mid-sentence and said loudly, “OK, OK Cathy, bye, bye, see you next time,” in front of other customers and staff and then walked away. It was dismissive, unprofessional, and honestly, embarrassing.
I wasn’t asking for a refund—just a sincere apology and someone to care about what happened. Instead, I was made to feel like my concerns didn’t matter at all. After years of loyalty and relationships I truly valued, I’m not sure I’ll be back.
PREVIOUS REVIEW:
Cynthia is a true artist when it comes to acrylic nails—her designs are next-level! Whether I want something bold, elegant, or fun, she nails it (literally) every time. The shape, detail, and creativity are unmatched. Mei gives amazing gel pedicures—super clean, relaxing, and long-lasting. I always leave feeling pampered and polished. Highly recommend both of these talented ladies!

LV Nail is a delight. The atmosher is calm and relaxing. While I received a pedicure, I had a very nice gentleman give me a very good leg and foot massage. Except for a little heavy handed filling for my sensitive fingers nails, she did a excellent job on my full set. I requested a full set of nails with two different colors and she did a beautiful job designing them with butterfly's and flowers. I'm going back there in two weeks.

I’ve lived in VA Beach and Chesapeake since moving here in 2021. I can say LV nails is the absolute BEST place to come get your nails done. Cynthia exclusively does my nails and she is amazing. The attention to detail even though I’m getting short and simple nails is unmatched! I’ve had a pedicure from almost every nail tech there and it never fails to disappoint. Their prices are more than fair and you never leave dissatisfied. Highly recommended to all of my friends and everyone should give them a shot…you won’t be disappointed! They have the easiest online booking system for my appointments and flexible hours that fit my schedule. I absolutely love LV nails and Cynthia!

I just want to preference this by saying I have been to this place multiple times in the past 2/3 years and never had an issue until this last time… and unfortunately I will not be going back again. I got a full set for a bachelorette trip and a fill no issues! The set was pretty and they did a great job. But when I got them removed to get builder gel instead, the guy ripped my nails off-instead of soaking them and I did say that it hurt (which is really hard for me to do sometimes) and he continued to do it! And I know they are trying to be quick so they can make the most money, I understand that! I’m just saying, don’t ever go to them for removal of acrylics, take them off yourself! By him ripping them off 1) it hurt so extremely bad and 2) The middle of my nail got ripped off completely, which led to it falling off about a week or so later.. and I cried because it’s so ugly and I feel so insecure about it. But they did a great job on the other 9 nails. I’m just warning you!!! And unfortunately I won’t be going back.. I wish there would have been a slight discount when I paid as well, considering my nail got ripped off. But it is what it is! I included pictures of my nails before and when it got ripped off and my nail now.

They rush, not doing a good job. I work too hard and get my nails done to pamper myself. I came home to file my nails for 30 minutes after leaving here so upset. I refuse to ask them to fix it because they have an attitude and say there's nothing wrong with it, customer is NOT right at this establishment. As you can see in their response to other not so good reviews, they blame the customer. We pay a good amount of money to leave unhappy with their work and not feel comfortable asking them to fix something without them having an attitude, or talking about you. I've left unhappy from your establishment for the last time.
