So today, I went to Taco Fiesta to order a burrito, the cost of the burrito was 13.00, which is reasonable, but I also bought a bag of Chicharrón in a ziplock bag and I thought the cost of the bag was 5.00. So I bought it. They charged me 36.06... there is no way a bag of chicharron is worth 15.00 dollars.. the lady didn't even let me know the price, I was in a hurry so I didn't verify the amount.. but yeah they charged me 15.00 for a bag of chicharron, I wished I would have just checked before I left or the lady should have told me the price. I would have not bought it for 15 dollars... also they only gave me 1 green sauce and 1 red sauce for a big burrito, the burrito was all rice and barely had any actual meat.. maybe they thought I was ordering a rice burrito.. if you go there don't order a burrito and make sure to check your receipt cause they will over charge you if you don't verify your receipt.. I even tipped them 15% and I only ordered to go... terrible.. not going to that spot again..

Coming here reminded me of coming to some of my favorite taco shops in San Diego. It's about the closest I have found in Hampton Roads to real TJ style street tacos. It's a small restaurant with limited seating but the aroma is delightful. Almost all of your authentic taco shop favorites are there. Even the beehive drink containers full of horchata and tamarindo are there. The service and prices certainly make it worth a visit. Then once you're done, just walk two steps over and go to the Mexican convenience store!

I came here hoping to find an authentic Mexican restaurant. I was not disappointed. Out of the many different places I have visited in Hampton roads, this place offers the most authentic and delicious experience. The restaurant workers are super nice, speaking both English and Spanish. They have you place the order at the window and then bring the food out to your table. I had menudo which can be a hit or miss. The menudo definitely hit the spot.

The tacos had a wonderful authentic taste from the tacos I use to have in Los Angeles,Ca. There was cilantro, radishes, chorizo and onions along with two different sauces. The tacos are double corn tortillas with a small amount of chorizo filling. I really thought for 3 taco at 3.75 is too expensive. It didn't include rice and beans for this price. There was no sauce bar. The picture on Yelp has the old prices I guess at 2.99 a taco. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly. There is a tiny store connected to the restaurant that sells all sorts of items tortillas, chorizo, etc. i might revisit to try something else. But for now I'll save my money and go somewhere else that includes the whole enchilada!

Ordered a burrito and coke here during my lunch break yesterday. Not only was it authentic, it was also very good. Cheap prices and the wait was average for lunchtime, so no complaints. The cashier was also very sweet and communicated with people while they were waiting for their orders.

My wife told me of her experience at Taco Fiesta while she was on a business trip and that it was the best Mexican she'd found on the East Coast. We are from Tucson and grew up on Sonoran Mexican food and having lived in Raleigh for 5 years we're always on the look out for restaurants that come close to Sonoran regional cuisine. Taco Fiesta is the closest we've found to date.l, the only problem being it's 3 hours away. We've had their Asada, Carnitas, and Pollo, tacos and tamales. All are fantastc. The condiment bar reminds me of taco shops in Tucson. We bring a cooler with us to take tamales home, the food is worth the drive.

Neat and friendly little spot on Bainbridge, been to the store in the past but finally had lunch in the adjoining restaurant we had Tacos and a Burrito all flavorful and fresh. The toppings bar is awesome, you can hook up your tacos with salsa, cheese, onion or hot sauce. Prices are right sine our lunch with three tacos a burrito and two cokes was around $20 bucks. A little out of the way but worth checking out.

My boyfriend had been raving about this hidden gem for weeks, so I was excited to finally check it out with our two friends. It is most definitely authentic, so if that's your priority then this is the spot for you. We joked about how you know it's an authentic Mexican restaurant when there is a little convenience store attached... this place had that! We were in a bit of a rush though, so we didn't check it out. Their menu is pretty simple. I am a taco girl, so it was awesome to see that they serve you the meat in a delicious, fresh corn tortilla and you are set to go fix it up yourself at the topping bar. They have everything you could want from a variety of spicy sauces, to pickled onions, to fresh cilantro and everything in between. I ordered the carnitas taco and this is where I was left disappointed. There was so much fattiness in the meat that I ended up picking out most of it and eating a taco of just the fresh toppings. I really enjoyed everything else about this place though, so I will definitely be back to try different meats & hopefully update with a 5 star review.

I was not sure what to expect from this place as it is a little hidden and small but was surprised. My only vegetarian option was a cheese quesadilla but it was very delicious and it came with rice and beans. There is also a topping bar that you go to after you get your food with all the toppings you could think of. Everyone I was with enjoyed their food also!

Delicious tacos and the Menudo was Fire! I've had better tacos in Hampton Roads but this one is top 3. If you're afraid to venture out to the hole in the wall (to me Authentic) taco joints around here because it looks dirty or in a suspicious area, this place is for you. Its a quiet place, its clean and there is a little old Hispanic lady that works the kitchen.

Growing up in Southern California has made me very particular about tacos, but these are the best tacos I've had since moving to Virginia! The asada was delicious, although I think it could have used more of a char on the meat. Even so, these were some great tacos!

This place is great! It's counter service, and most things are made to order. It's a small place so it takes a few minutes to get your food. This doesn't mean it's slow. I love Mexican food, and this place is the best in the area!
