I have interacted with NAE for two estates as part of my work as a probate / estate attorney. I have found their staff to be pleasant and helpful, even for one-off requests peculiar to the probate process. I primarily interacted at the Battlefield Branch.

This is by far the worst credit union I've dealt with. I made a payment in the office and it wasn't paid on my car loan account until several weeks later. When I mail payments it's the same thing. There's no way to pay online unless I open an account which I choose not to do. Very frustrated!

If I could give less than one I would. I have a car loan with them. My mother was my cosigner. She passed in February. I spent all of February trying to get things situated and got several stories. Tried to make next payment and was told I couldn't because my name wasn't on loan. Questioned this like crazy, as paperwork received states me as primary and shows on my credit report. Due date for next loan payment rolls around. Still not able to do anything. Finally get through and it's recognized that I'm on the paperwork. Then I'm told to pay the loan IN FULL. I explained that isn't possible. Told payment is late, yeah because you wouldn't let me make a payment. After that payment is late I'm told they're repossessing if payment not made in 2 hours. I set up the bill pay with my bank and they mail it out. Now told the payment is more than I know it was and if not paid by end of business today then they're going to repossess. It's behind 1 payment and I was supposed to be receiving paperwork to remove my Mom from documents as she's passed AND paperwork to skip a payment so it's not so hard of an adjustment. Never received this paperwork. She's been gone 2 months and I've been catching it with this company since.

I have the unfortunate situation if having my car loan through this credit union. It has been nothing but a headache to pay this bill every month. I look forward to never having to think about this place again.

Probably the worst Bank in America. You get an auto loan through them and you cannot even sign onto their website. You cannot access the account to pay it, this has got to be illegal and against some consumer lending law.

I have received the most rude customer service ever. I will never bank with you again and I will tell everyone I know how awful I was treated. I called to order an expired bank card. I had to cancel it. Also when I changed my address whoever put it in put the incorrect Unit number and I have to go into the center to correct it. I still can’t get over being hung up on 3 times once I asked to speak to a Supervisor. Awful Customer service..

Get your loan at another bank. The customer service here is the worst and you will almost always deal with them because they will mess up someway. Run and choose someone else.

The people are nice, if you can ever get ahold of anyone. The Cromwell branch is allegedly open - the drive through- from 9 to 1 on Saturdays, however there doesn't seem to be anyone manning the phones. The app and website are very rudimentary and you cannot make a payment, neither are set up to accept payments from another checking account, or debit card. The only way to make a payment is to call, pray that someone answers, and then pay a $10 fee. Additionally, if you call their after-hours banking 24/7 help line, and as of now I've been on hold for 22 mins.

If I could give this credit union zero stars, I would. This credit union has been unresponsive for almost two years. My old credit union joined theirs, and I've been trying to close my account ever since. Their lobbies are only open when I'm working, so I was unable to go into the building to close the account - their requirement. Over the last two years, they have completely depleted my savings account (now has a zero balance) with dormant account fees, and I STILL can't close it. I never received a debit card, a membership card, checks, or anything other than a quarterly statement that showed my balance dropping by $12/month in fees. I have averaged a 45 minute hold time every time I call, and yesterday I was still on hold when the credit union closed without picking up the call! I've worked for several credit unions, and I hold a membership in three others, and I can tell you that this is NOT what a Credit Union is about!
