My experience was horrible I had baby items that weren’t even hurt. I took very good care of all my baby items! I washed and cleaned all of my items before taking them to the store. I mean it’s a second hand store, and for them to be picky about one little spot is beyond ridiculous! Never again going to sell my items there. Believe all the negative reviews they are true.

Just walked out because I tried to sell my very expensive double jogging stroller and the owner kept pointing to very small smudges on the fabric. These weren't stains that won't come out. An employee gave me clorox wipes and the owner still tried to find another issue. She asked me to pump the tires up lastly. She could've just said she felt like I was black and dirty and she didn't want my stuff. Not to mention I've BOUGHT countless clothes n toys from HERE that were dirty that I took home to clean. Also they never speak when I come in and everyone looks so sad working here.
Edit: I forgot to mention I took the stroller immediately to the Newport News location and they bought the stroller. I did pump the tires of course but the point is they gave me better customer service. I believe they have a different owner.

Piss poor customer service! When I walk into an establishment and everyone looks but doesn’t acknowledge me as I’m coming in, that right there should’ve been a sign! Also while trying to manage getting my toddler in the door and a bin, my toddlers finger accidentally got hit in the door and he was crying hysterically and no one bothered to ask if he was okay or if they could help me. When being processed to sell my items, my toddler was waving at some of the staff and no one acknowledged him. I don’t know if maybe because we’re black, that disqualified us from a simple “hello” or “is he alright”, BUT ILL NEVER BE RETURNING. To be treated as if you didn’t want to deal with me, while the whole time I’m being pleasant with you is absurd. Thankfully we don’t need the money, but it’s not worth getting “jar” change when you have to deal with bad attitudes!

All the 1 star reviews are MOST DEFINITELY TRUE. I have a new, never used cloud stroller and she kept pointing at imaginary stains. Facebook Marketplace is the best way to sell baby things. Employee was extremely rude and short with me. Don't go here to sell stuff!

Believe all the negative reviews on here! They Definitely need to replace their whole team piss poor customer service. When trying to sell things. I’m glad I wasn’t in need of money and only trying to clean out my baby room of things we no longer use.

I believe they are prejudiced every time I bring things there they say it smells like smoke and I don't even smoke so I know they be lying they must have me in the computer as a smoker that brain items y'all are very prejudice and y'all sell items with holes in it when I bring things that look basically brand new brand new books brand new toys brand new shoes and boxes but I clean my book bag smell

Ripoff . If you all want peoples clothes for free just say that. Maybe you need to reconsider your business model because with all the old clothes that aren’t selling and the new clothes that you’re trying to charge pennies for to make up for all the old clothes that aren’t selling…apparently it’s headed for failure

I don't know if they have their picks or what but at this location you won't get more than $5. Waiting around for them to say "We are offering $4.05 is crazy especially since the shoes and some clothes I see already in the store look outdated, dirty, & scratched up. You would be better off just giving your child's things away.

Poor service, they didn't touch one thing in my bin but claimed it smelled like smoke. We don't smoke. The short manager lady has her pick and I had an issue with her when she was at the battlefield location.

Poor customer service when selling items. They couldn’t figure out what price point my baby gates were worth and couldn’t figure out how to put them together, so wouldn’t buy them. One employee commented in a rude way that the outfit I brought felt wet, when it was recently laundered and completely dry, which the other associate at the register agreed with me. I was told the outfit I brought had a stain, then took that comment back and said actually it’s not stained but the front is too worn. Didn’t bother to call me to tell me that they had finished reviewing my items. The general demeanor in that area of the store was poor. I’m sorry if they were having a bad day, but not treated professionally. Won’t be selling or purchasing from this location anymore.

I brought a counter with a lot of my baby's clothes and shoes in good condition but they returned a lot and the shoes too the lady who received the clothes today was a bit racist because of the expression on her face, she was not so nice when I told her I was going to sell some things about my baby, he answered me reluctantly, I don't know if I'll come back to buy clothes here
