Once Upon A Child Chesapeake Greenbrier is a store offering a huge selection and huge variety of gently used children's clothes, shoes, and things. The store is very well kept. Prices are fair, more than reasonable, and affordable, with most clothing items around $4.50 and available deals. It is not a thrift store. The staff is consistently excellent, super nice, extremely polite, lovely, and very kind. Shoppers are immediately greeted and helped, with staff offering assistance while they shop. The team processes items efficiently, allowing customers to be in and out quickly. Experiences with selling items vary. Many report a very nice experience, with the staff being kind and honest about what they are buying. Customers are happy to earn extra cash and appreciate making a few dollars. However, the process can be infuriating for some, as the store is selective and not obligated to buy everything, often citing stains, wear and tear, or condition as reasons for declining items, even those that appear new to the seller. Overall, many customers would return, recommend, and plan to be long-time customers.
Brought my daughter in Sunday afternoon to sell some of her clothes that no longer fit her. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes and she was happy to earn some extra cash. The team was excellent.

They typically buy most items I sell. Some items aren’t stained and gently worn and they still don’t take them. A complaint is when I hand them my ID and they place it back on the counter to give to me. That’s rude

Good affordable baby clothes waited at the register for about 10 minutes while they tried figuring out why the sale wasn’t going through properly.
