I have never read the comments until today. I have been going here for awhile. I typically sell my child’s clothes there but the price they give for the amount of things they want is unrealistic. Most of the clothing I give is name brand and the most they have ever offer me is $30.I have seen where I sit and watch them do other clothes that look like clothes that they sold them and the person just returned them back and they give hundreds of dollars. Also for they to say that they only take clean clothes why does majority of the clothes have stains on them.

The store is clean and the selection is good. The staff are friendly. But. Trying to sell clothes to them is....something. My clothes were reject for "not smelling freshly Laundered", despite everything being washed and clean. I use unscented laundry detergent. I guess if I try again I will have to remember to stuff some dryer sheets in the bag before I go. Such a bummer that I wasted my time.

I’m usually raving about this store, but I am so disheartened by my last experience. I’ve sold here a handful of times with no issue; however, my last experience left me at a loss of words. My entire bag of clothes was declined due to an “odor” that was not disclosed to me. My mother called because she was upset about how upset I was. The lady told her the clothes had a very foul odor and didn’t elaborate. Normally I would brush it off but I take pride in ensuring my preemie son is well taken care of and his clothes are always clean. I asked my mother to take the same exact clothes without washing them (because I knew they didn’t have an odor) to the location in Chesapeake Square and they accepted everything with no problem. The employee was appalled when told about the experience I had here. I’m here to say DO BETTER and stop stereotyping people as that is truly how you made me feel. I will never support this location again.

What a disgusting location. I watched their employees go through my bin and sniffing every single item that was in there. And I’m not talking about just a simple sniff, which would’ve been sufficient for them to tell that my items were freshly laundered. They were sniffing each item for solid 5 seconds!!! They were rolling their eyes, making puzzled faces, and passing each other my items to sniff them once again. They obviously didn’t realize that I was watching the entire time. Long story short, they ended up telling me that they passed on all of my items because they had a “weird scent” to them. Still not sure what that was. Sold with other locations countless times and never had this complaint.

Shopped here for our kids for years. Would purchase a bunch of options. Take home to try on the kids to see what we liked. Then return the rest within 7 days (store policy). Recently they’ve told us we can’t return more than 3 items at a time, despite not having a rule like that written anywhere. We will be shopping elsewhere in the future.

Took some brand new dresses and boots never worn to battlefield store. I read the reviews online and saw they refuse stuff saying it has an odor to your clothing. With this being said I freshen up the clothes and stuck them in a smell good bag. The store refused them and very quietly but rudely told me it was refused for an odor!? Wth are you talking about? Your store Stinks and you stated my clothes stink when I well prepared for you to say that! NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!

Y’all know I love a bargain. Now I donate all the time and when I have good stuff I like to resell sometimes. This location low balls people in there items. I dropped off some items and only received 20 bucks. Came back to bring shoes and one of the items are selling for 20 bucks??? Make it make since!!! side note, they told me my bag smell of smoke I literally just got it from the dollar tree smh.. and all these shoes have been in storage. ??♀️ ALL N ALL THIS company is crazy! They don’t resolve issue they just apologize and stay the same!! Won’t get my money or my items

Should've read the reviews. Had my last experience attempting to utilize their "resale". Unless you have a baby walker (they had like 30 walkers all over the place) don't bother with toy resale. Also check in, they don't estimate how long it will take very well and don't actually call you when they say they will.Response to Diane response:I understand the policy in general, what I find ridiculous is the nit-picking of this policy. The hot wheels set I brought in was rejected because I didn't bring a single standard hot wheel car, you currently have bags of cars for sale. But you cannot sell a track without a car, that's a little ridiculous. The 3ft imaginext megazord was purchased from Once upon a child without an imaginext figure, but I cannot sell it back because it doesn't have a figure.I would suggest you change your format for your Facebook posts to include your stipulations, you have recently posted alot about buying toys. Which is what drove me to bring the toys in. It feels like false advertising and I feel like you duped me.I did not receive a text. Which is why my recommendation to others looking at your establishment remains. If anyone is attempting to sell items, call regularly while waiting.

They typically buy most items I sell. Some items aren’t stained and gently worn and they still don’t take them. A complaint is when I hand them my ID and they place it back on the counter to give to me. That’s rude

Brought a lot of toys to sell and they did not take most for reasons they did not say. No rust or anything. We had a nice bike they didn't take, huge fire trucks and Ikea toys. Left with a pickup truck still full of toys; we just might have to donate to Goodwill.Went on a Saturday afternoon and because there were a lot of people, I think employees were just getting lazy. Not good.DON'T SELL YOUR TOYS HERE. YOU'LL BE WASTING YOUR TIME JUST HAULING THEM ALL BACK.

I brought in 3 totes of clothes and shoes to sell and asked about how long the wait would be in-store. The woman told be about 30 min... 35-40 tops. I understand that this is an estimate and may be off by a little. We'll here I am 1 hour and 50 minutes later, I have been standing in this store and my items STILL aren't done. Will I make it past 2 hours?? I would never have waited in store if they hadn't estimated 30-40 minutes!

I came here one day to get some newborn essentials. I only picked up 3 sleepers and it came out to $11 . Doesn't seem bad but I could go to target and buy a very nice BRAND NEW pack of 3 sleepers for a dollar more . There was a swing there I was also looking at that didn't have a tag . It was $90 ! I couldn't believe they were trying to sell a second hand swing for $90 . . There's a few things worth buying there like play shoes and baby onesies . Other than that this place is extremely overpriced . Might as well just buy your clothes brand new .

Insanely condescending. Only one lady is truly kind, she has a shaved head buzz cut. Everyone else seems super snobby.

Don't ever try to bring things here, they'll make shit up every time why they can't take it. Been here four times for the same thing and they always say something else is wrong with it. Meanwhile all the stuff in the store they sell is absolutely trashed.

I came here with clean clothes, all washed some even brand new. Lady claims after 5mins that there is an odor coming from the clothes which is impossible. Even had Nike sneakers in the basket they didn't even look at. They are a waste of time & their selection is trash! Customer service is terrible as well! Everytime i give them a chance and they fail me everytime.
