Have been going there for years. Very picky even though their stuff is falling apart and has stains. The girls behind the counter talk about everyone and laugh. Very biased. If you are bigger, or different looking than them behind the counter, they automatically don't choose any of the clothes you bring in. When I brought the clothes in, the one girl taking the clothes in was nice and was explaining they would be sending a text when they were done. There was another girl at the counter and she told the other girl who took my clothes in to not send the text right now, to wait until I was out. So a big waste of time. If you aren't skinny, blonde or a teenager, don't bother, they will not take anything and will laugh at you here.

I had a terrible experience at this Plato’s Closet. When we dropped off our donations, we had no idea about their “box-only” rule and brought our items in plastic bags. Instead of simply explaining the policy, the staff laughed at us, which felt really rude and unprofessional.
When we returned to pick up our items, things got even worse. The associate at the counter complained loudly that she didn’t want to bring out our box because it was “the one she didn’t want to do.” She made a dramatic scene dragging the box over to us, claiming it was too heavy and clearly annoyed.
As we left, it felt like the staff was practically laughing at us again. Overall, the whole visit was uncomfortable and disrespectful. What should’ve been a simple donation drop-off turned into a very frustrating experience, and I won’t be returning.

clothes in there were great, the attitudes not so much. sure it’s back to school season but holy cow, don’t work in customer service if you’re gonna be rude to EVERYONE. the girl working the register, light skinned with hair pulled back in a mid ponytail was just nasty to my boyfriend and i.
we walked up when the line empty and she stopped us and rudely said “uh wait there’s a line”, looked over into the isle and realized she was wrong and just went “never mind, there were people waiting but guess not” then rolled her eyes.
when she asked for a phone number i told her mine (didn’t know if i had one here or not) and told her it. when it didn’t show up on the screen, she sighed really loud and repeated it saying “uhhhh no” and looked at me and rolled her eyes again. i told her “guess not, it’s fine.”
she sighed really big one more time and finished checking us out. when we were done i just said “god, i sure hope your day gets better” and she scoffed at me. like if you’re gonna be pissed at US for buy from YOU, don’t be surprised when you’re met with the same energy. we will not be back.

Unfortunately the girls that work at this store is not very professional. I took some clothes that I bought last year at old navy and most of them with tags and I was waiting for them to check my clothes and when they got my bags they were all distracting talking to each other and just taking the clothes out of my bag, folding e putting back without looking at my clothes. They told me my clothes were old and old style.

This Plato's closet to me seems better than the one in Virginia Beach. The workers is nicer and respectful. I enjoy taking my clothes to sell here they don't just throw them back in the box Messy.

Don’t waste your time, they dont care about customers, they just stare at you like a zombie..they will get 2pieces from a bunch of stuff and offer some change like 2-3$ for your stuff you can easily sell in fcbk market or rather give for free at goodwill 🤦🏽♀️ id rather give for free than take my stuff to these ppl! Very unprofessional

I didn’t know you could sell at plato’s closet, i was confused about the store at first but one young lady help me out. i think her name was skyler? i don’t remember but it was something like that.
