Thank you so much to the ladies who worked windows 1 & 2 today and Kelly who were all very helpful to me and my husband Donald G. This was our first time ever at Sentara and it is a most pleasant experience. They were all helpful, polite, caring and knowledgeable which is what we needed. Thank you. Don & Laura Gall

The female (looks like she was in her mid 30s.. slim built and has a very short haircut) who was doing the blood work was super rude. I told her that I have rolling veins and she completely ignored me. Then when she was done drawing my blood, she snatched the tourniquet off of my arm.

Sat for an extended time to even get checked in, girl at front desk talked about all the places she applied for a job, did one patient check in every 15 mins continued to talk loudly and not check anyone in

Went here to get a ct scan for an urgent situation because they had the soonest available appointment out of all other sentara establishments. A week later and my results still haven’t even been sent over to my doctor. Also, when I called to see why, the receptionist had an attitude immediately and just told me to check mychart (which I did and the results weren’t there either) Wouldnt tell me anything else. Didn’t even ask for my name so that she could look into it. 0 stars

Frustrated!! Had fasting blood work that I needed done… checked the website… they are open… get there labs are closed… imaging is open!! How about a heads up on the website!!! Gotta do it all over again tomorrow!!!

I work closely and risked trying to get my labs and X-ray done during my lunch break. They were VERY busy but I was still able to get it all done in the time I needed. Just a little under an hour. The lab tech even took me a little early without knowing that, and my techs were very friendly. Intake took the longest part but I'm sure if it wouldn't had been so busy that would've been a little faster

Got to the office before 4:15pm. Checked in for an EKG. Waited in the waiting room (which was empty) for over an hour. Was called back to do labs which I wasn’t there for. Waited in the waiting room a few more minutes and then the front desk staff started looking for someone to do my EKG as it was now after 5pm. They ask the heavy set lady with braids that was checking people in (who was more concerned about watching Netflix on her phone) to do my EKG since everyone else was gone. She was a tech also. She proceeded to try to use the machine but she did not have the “proper access.” So then they tell me to come back in the morning because everyone is gone. I said “ I thought y’all close at 5??” She said labs closes at 5, not EKG. So I asked her what time does EKG close (mind you, it’s all the same office). She said “4:30-5:00.” So now she’s trying to play with my intelligence. I told her I was here BEFORE both of those times and there’s nothing stating EKG closes at 4:30. Long story short, they dropped the ball and didn't send my info back to the techs like they were supposed to. When they saw me still waiting after 5pm is when they realized their mistake. Time wasted. Horrible experience.

The people are extremely nice here. Here’s my story; I live in North Carolina and have been having lower abdomen pain since Thursday, had x Ray done on Friday with my pcp was normal pain continues to Monday gets another x Ray done which is not normal. I get pushed out the door this is stat!! This has to be done. I get told my pcp will call me. I wait till my pcp office is about to close, I call and ask. No results. So I call the healthplex center to see about my results. And if I can give this Angel VISHA 5 stars I would plus some. She was so caring and tried to push the results for me understanding that my issue could be life threatening! She promised she would call me before leaving the building, she was frustrated with this being a stat order that I have waited hours!! To receive. Unfortunately her office closed before I got my results and ended up going to the hospital for hopes to get a answer. She calmed me down and listened to me vent and lose my mind. So VISHA if you ever see this. There needs to be more nurses like you, you really are a Angel. And thank you.

The wait wasn't unusually long like most places, and everyone we encountered provided exception customer service, especially Ashley. She was so personable, professional and kind. Ashley is a huge asset to Sentara and you can tell she takes pride in her job. I hope she is recognized for her superiorness.

Absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had!! Went for my annual mammogram just over 2 weeks ago and the X-ray techs were incredibly rude, condescending and unprofessional!! So disappointing since I've been to this facility before and it's been a fairly positive experience. There was NO need for these 2 techs to speak to me the way they did! I recommend a refresher course in \"Basic customer service 101!\" I have personnel management experience and this it NOT how you treat any customer/patient!!!

The absolute the last time I'll set foot in this office. I'd rather pay a 250 dollar coinsurance at the emergency room. Waited 2 hours to get a Covid-19 test which I knew would be negative for my two boys. They called and said it was negative and that was it. Please, if you've had a bad experience like me, take it up with your insurance company. Their are paths to take action.
