I had a mixed experience at this salon. I initially spoke with Monique, who quoted me $220 for half box braids and cornrows. However, when it came time to pay, she changed the price to $230. I found this disappointing and unprofessional. Running a business with unclear pricing and last-minute changes doesn’t build trust with customers.
That said, I want to thank Ana, who did an amazing job on my hair. Her work was detailed and exactly what I wanted. I truly appreciate her effort and skill.

This is the very best best best hair salon. You can get your hair done closing your eyes because the result will be amazing. That will be the fourth time I’m going to do my hair there and I was never disappointed not even one thing was wrong and we all know ladies how we like our hair done and the price is worth it. The only thing I wish is for the owner to get her hair salon bigger so she can have more customers and I wish her the best because she’s one of the top five in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake area hands down.❤️

I Loveeeeee It Here!!! 10/10 highly recommend. I came in with only 2 scoops of hair and they were able to braid my short hair. Mind you it wasn’t tight at all and I’m extremely tender headed. This took almost 7 hours and I was comfortable throughout. A mother daughter duo worked on my hair and the speed of their hands are amazing. And their prices are amazing as well. I can’t wait to come back for more styles. 💕💕💕

Omg! I’ve been wanting braids forever but unable to find someone great! Well I found her. Pick this place!!! I called the day of to see if I can get my hair braided. The owner personally welcomed me with open arms via the phone. I told her my hair was short and asked if I could come in to see what she can do. When I came in the vibes and energy were on 1 million. Very chill, upbeat, beautiful and clean facility. She was able to explain to me exactly what to expect. She walked me through what type of hair I needed to purchase based on my expectations. She did my micros in five hours by herself. It was affordable and meticulous. I was blown away! She has a customer for life. Not only were the Braids Great, but the conversation was so amazing it felt like I had only been there for one hour. What are the odds that I can get the perfect braids the day of? Instead of finding reasons why she couldn’t accommodate me, she found ways to accommodate me. I left feeling beautiful and special. Not only did. She treat me this way, she treated her staff this way and that walked in the door. Go to the shop, you will thank me later.

Just finished getting my knotless box braids and I am so pleased. This is my go to shop and I always get wonderful compliments on my hair. I’m always recommending this shop to anyone who asks. Yasmine does a great job examining your hair during the braiding process to ensure the braids are being done correctly.

Do not recommend!!
I am natural over a decade and get braids as a protective style 3-4x a year. I have been getting knotless for the last three years. I say that for reference, because I know how to remove braids from my hair and know the amount of shedding to expect.
I got knotless braids here on December 20, 2024. I took them down today, when I detangled there were so many knots in my hair and not at the root, midway down the shaft of my strands. I have no idea how this is even possible. I must have gotten their two worst braiders. Some of the braids were traditional box braid technique, not even knotless. I am new to the area so I trusted the reviews.THEY. DO. NOT. KNOW. HOW. TO. PROPERLY. INSTALL. KNOTLESS. BRAIDS! You have been warned. I will not ever come here again and discourage anyone who mentions this place..ugh!
