Started bowling again after a 10 year lay off. Had new balls drilled and they didn't respond the way I had hoped. Bought a ball from a friend and asked him who he recommended to get it re done. He suggested bowling bigger. I set an appointment with dan and got the ball fixed. Was very happy with the way it felt and rolled off my hand. Had dan meet me to find my pap. He got it took my rip cord and plugged it. Got it re drilled and have a sublime drilled. Threw them today and was extremely happy with the way they preformed. It felt like the way I bowled 10 years ago. Now that I have found someone that takes time with you to make sure your hand is right in the ball. He has my business as long as I continue to bowl. I bought my first bowling ball from Dan Schank. As a new bowler, I had no appreciation for the importance of ball drilling or types of balls to bowl with. Dan walked me through each phase of choosing a ball and getting the perfect fit. He was very patient and thorough.As a bowling instructor, Dan has helped improve my bowling exponentially. With his coaching, I’ve improved my timing and form. I’ve managed to greatly increase ball speed as well as ball release. Dan’s style of teaching is patient and result oriented. He’s helped me strategize and focus. Now I love the game ?

I had such a pleasant experience with Dan. I walked in his shop not knowing that I probably should have scheduled an appointment. This was my first ever purchase of a "custom-fitted" tennis racket. Between him in the process of re-stringing other rackets for scheduled client appts, he was still so kind to answer all of my questions regarding racket purchasing. He fitted me for a racket that would suite my current needs in tennis and even explained the difference between rackets and what I may need in the future. While I was there, he even connected me with someone I could start playing with.~Ameerah

i can't remember how i learned of Dan, but i'm glad i did. after a 25+ year hiatus from bowling, i decided to get back into it after introducing my kids to the sport. i experienced a lot of wrist pain with my old ball as early as the second game, so Dan looked at the ball and noted the span wasn't drilled correctly. he also watched videos of my approach and release. based on this info, he offered some recommendations and drilled up 3 new balls for my arsenal. he's up-to-date on the latest tech and introduced me to the JoPo interchangeable thumb system. love it! i also stopped having wrist pain within 2 weeks of following his advice. that was about 6 months ago. i just updated my arsenal to include a symmetrical and a urethane spare ball. this weekend, my wife is getting her new ball drilled. his ball recommendations have been spot-on for me, so i'm confident it'll be great for her. VERY HIGHLY recommended!

This man is honestly the best stringer in Hampton Roads! It should be illegal to string this well! He takes players request for strings, tensions, etc. and produces above and beyond every time! If you’re a serious player, junior player, or coach that loves it done right, Dan should without a doubt be your #1 choice! I Wouldn’t get my sticks strung anywhere else.

Dan runs an appointment-only bowling and tennis pro-shop out of a storefront in his home. He is incredibly knowledgeable and provides a one-of-a-kind personalized experience to provide you exactly what you need/want at a very reasonable price. His bowling selection is as good or better than most bowling lane pro-shops I've seen. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

As a extremely enthusiastic and ambitious (but modestly talented) senior open level tennis player, I have been limited recently by chronic tennis elbow.I heard about Daniel Schank at SuperStringer, LLC, and met with him about stringing my racquet at a lower tension. I knew I was using the best string to protect my elbow (top of the line gut) but was wrong. Daniel recommended a different string and said I could string it at even lower tension with good control, easier on the elbow. He strung two racquets, one each way. He was right.His knowledge and skill is helping me stay on the court. Could not be more grateful for his impressive expertise. Fully recommend him.
