I went to this location on 12-19 just to get an oil change. when I got there the 3 bays were occupied. An attendant can out and said we will be with you soon. Soon ended up being 23 minutes. At this point I was instructed to enter the #1 Bay . I pulled in and stopped as instructed. Not a word was spoken to me while I sat in my car for another 26 minutes. At this point I was just frustrated and beeped my horn since no one responded to my voice. When I was approached I told the guy that I had a lot of things to do today and couldn't stay. The attendant said OK I UNDERSTAND and InstrucTed me to pull forward and I left. I THINK PERHAPS A NEW NAME SHOULD BE45 min waiting and possibly an oil change

Take 5?? More like take an hour.......Just sat in line for about 40 minutes and I still didn't get pulled into the bay. I was just here a couple days ago and I sat in line for about 35 minutes and did not make it into the bay as well. I don't think I'll be coming back here anymore

My husband went to get an oil change and he was stuck in line for over 2 hours because of understaffing. The oil change was also expensive about $100 for a Nissan Sentra. Other than that, the service was fine.

Very negative experience here. We waited for TWO HOURS to get our oil changed. This is no exaggeration. It seemed like there were more workers present, but only two people working on cars. I agree with a previous review - no sense of urgency whatsoever. A lot of chit chat and no work. Very frustrating experience - we will never be back here.

The attendant was not supposed to change the oil in my vehicle by using the oil plug on the oil pan, it was supposed to be a top-side extraction. So they pulled the oil plug anyway. Then put the old oil plug back in and with NO GASKET. Which leaked 6 qts of oil all over the back & bottom of my car and on my parkway in less than a week.Burning, smokey fumes in my air and cabin filters. Fumes that are all in my vehicle and inthe carpet/floors. You know how burning oil smells for a week. They refused to take care of my car and restore it back to how it was before I got the oil changed. And that was no stinking gassy burning oil smell. My family had to breathe that in for a week. Because they said it wasn't their fault. And then it ended up being their fault and the "cameras" and SUPERVISOR caught it. Corporate refused to do anything worthwhile that would have made a REAL difference. Imagine 6 qt of old burning and dumping on your catalytic converter fir daaaays Burning and smoking right up into the cabin. They said they were not responsible for all the toxic oil spill burning underneath my car for weeks. IT..WAS..EVERYWHERE.All of my calls are documented... BBB will be my next step. This is not a rant. This is a complete nasty disrespectful cut throat company. And I wouldn't change my oil there for free. It's completely unethical garbage. Look at my reviews. This is not a rant. This is an honest review of a crooked company.

I have been a customer of this location for over 15 years, I understand Take 5 has only been there for around 2 years. As I travel for work i am normally there monthly. I have just had my worse experience there ever. This staff is all new and to be honest not very knowledgeable about cars, I waited out side for 10 min and then inside for another 25 prior to them starting to work on the car. They no longer check the air in the tires, check the fluids but they sure is heck stripped the screws on the air filter box. when i asked why they didn't check the other fluids I was told it was because they don't service those fluids. I shared that they might want to buy a screw gun with a clutch so they don't strip screws. In the past due to my "regular" visits i always had a relationship with the folks working here and due to being a loyal customer always received a discount. I have never paid 120.00 for a oil change, when i questioned the price I was told "well, that's what the computer says", my reply was...Well then it must be right.!!! So sad to watch a good quality location take a dive like this... But like todays economy, prices up and service down.

I have been to this Take 5 a couple times and every experience has been horrible. This is the closes Take 5 to me as I live in the Churchland area of Portsmouth. First it was them denying me an oil change because the my car (BMW) does not have a dip so the did not want to help me. BMWs do not come with dip sticks. Then is was me being rudely assisted by a worker there. They were over-talking me, I was misguided under the bay which caused me to get a flat tire. That was a major inconvenience for me. On that particular day I was trying to get me levels topped and still ended up in a predicament where I was not assisted. My triple A had to tow me from that Take 5 because i was misguided. I am trying to understand what can be done to suffice, I am never going back there. The manager was also avoiding my calls etc.

The two gentlemen were working nonstop to get every vehicle taken care of. They did an excellent job, however I would recommend bringing in another person or two on Sundays to help. I’m not even sure they were able to get lunch.Service: Oil change

It took forever just to get an oil change. Then when i pulled into the pit I didn’t get serviced til a time later. Isn’t take 5 known to be quick? There was 3-4 people working when I went.

Staff was great, down to earth, and super friendly. However, I arrived at 12:10 PM and left at 1:45 PM with 5 cars in front of me. Plz hire more people.

3 employees working on one car at a time. 1st car out of the 3rd bay. Waited over an hour and a half to get pulled in. Then sat there for 30+ minutes before finding out no conventional oil guns were working. Had then lower my hood and pulled out. Only offering Synthetic and blends....would have been nice to know that when pulled up. Was not greeted or talked to until an hour into the wait.

I waited in line for an hour and 20 minutes only to get the manager to tell me she has to leave and the only person there is a trainee. Therefore, they can not accept any more oil changes. It took an hour and 20 minutes to service four cars. This is not a 5-minute service!!

My mechanic, Kevin, thank you for being the only nice person to me that day, i showed up right before close and felt horrible, but you were so kind and respectful.
