I do not wish to hurt the reputation of the company by giving a negative review but I would like to make a comment. I would like to ask the owner to make an effort to more clearly advertise on their site that they do not service Virginia to Virginia moves less than 200 miles. We would’ve loved to use your service, had that not been a company policy. The website allowed us to get a quote, but it took us calling to figure it out.

Used upack for a military move and their services were by far the best of all the self service moving companies that you can choose from. They provided all the weight tickets, final bill, everything that is needed and there were zero issues. Customer service for booking and scheduling drop off and delivery were great! Highly recommend using them for your next move!

Great customer service, had a full trailer other than the way our hired help (not from Upack) loaded the trailer we had an amazing move using Upack and will definitely use them on our next move. We moved from coast to coast and got updates every step of the way.

We moved from North Carolina to California and had a great move. Our U-Pack was delivered by a very helpful gentleman. They can and picked it up and it was delivered to Ca in a timely manner. Our belongings arrived just as we packed them and we moved them into our new home. The U-Pack was picked up on time. Thank you for a great experience !!

I moved from Oklahoma to Virginia Beach, and this was the easiest move I ever had!!!From the time the cube got dropped off, picked up, and all the way to delivery!Even after I had problems with the apartment I supposed to move in....U-Pack was easy to reach to let them know that the cube needed to be relocated, and they were right there!You guys are the BEST. ....thank you so much!

We have used them in June and December to move from Chicago to Norfolk. The service and professionalism is unmatched both times. I highly recommend them!

In general, I was quite pleased with the service. They did what they said they were going to do and it all worked as described. I was particularly impressed with their ability to get a truck to us quickly. Shipping by U-Pack was a last minute decision. We ordered a truck one day and it was there ready to be loaded the next day. The only problem we had, and it was a small one, was some communication lapses on the truck pick up after unloading. We finished unloading about 4:00 in the afternoon and I called the local distribution company as instructed and they said they would pick up the truck the next day. About 4:00 p.m. the next day, I still had not been contacted about the pick up so called again and they had no record of being notified. They were able to pick it up the next day. No big deal as the truck was not in the way.

8 years ago, I experienced a great move with upack. The pick-up and delivery were prompt and on time. Excellent customer service, they were patient and professional whenever I had questions about the process which led me to use their service once more. Fast forward to today. On planning the move, once more the staff were excellent to assist with my planning as I knew there was going to be some delay between the time of packing and the availability of my new residence. They made me feel secure in a plan to pick up my trailer on 31Aug and deliver it promptly on 09Sep. The customer service professional advised me of an ideal plan and that they would hold my items if they happened to arrive too early. No problem, right? However, they didn't pickup on 31Aug as described, unknown to me I had to call for trailer pickup that was supposed to be pre-arranged but a call cleared that up on 01Sep and they hauled it off. Since then, the trailer has been parked in Winston Salem, NC. A follow up call to their toll-free number on 08Sep to a less than interested employee suggested it may arrive on the 11th but they do not deliver on weekends so it may be the 12th...13th...14th even. At this point I'm wondering if I am going to require shopping for a new wardrobe to start my new job at my new location. The truck location still showing Winston Salem, NC and it's the day it was intended to be delivered. I have had to reschedule my unloading staff appointment and have no idea when to expect arrival of my belongings. My first experience would have been a 5/5. This experience, I would rate a 1/5. At this point I feel concerned my property is not secure and that it has not made any movement in 9 days.

We moved from Virginia to Florida and I highly recommend this service. From beginning to end this was the best experience I've ever had with any company! Customer service was the way customer service is supposed to be, kind, efficient and knowledgeable. They saved my family the stress of driving and we totally enjoyed our move. When it came time for us to receive our cube, once again right on time and our belongings were safe and sound. We plan on staying put but if we ever moved again this company would be my only choice

Just used this company to move from KS to VA, nothing but a good experience for me. I'm highly recommending this company to anyone looking for a reliable moving company. This company has just overall excellent customer service, even the guys that drops off the PODS were very nice. ?

U-Pack performed very well with a few minor exceptions. They were flexible, allowing us to book a 2nd trailer on contingency, which we never used and they didn't bill us for. They picked up and dropped off when they said they would within a few hours, and the price is unbeatable. The driver who dropped off the trailer was a gem, personable and providing detailed instructions. The driver who picked up the trailer was uncommunicative and totally unhelpful, bordering on uncivil. The shipment arrived OK, but there was apparently a leak in the trailer which caused three of our boxes to become wet. We were fortunate that this didn't cause significant damage. So a very good, but not perfect, experience. U-Pack was much more professional than the people who loaded. U-Pack suggests loaders and unloaders but I would recommend doing your own investigation on whom to use.
