I went ulta yesterday to get a shade match for foundation and this woman who worked there (don’t know her name) started giving me skin care tips that I did not ask for. She proceeded to tell me that if my skin was clearer that my foundation would look better…… again I never asked her about skin care lol. She was a tall black older lady who reminded me several time throughout our conversation that she was 65 lol. I thought that was very rude of her and unprofessional because again I asked her for a shade match not to show me skin care products that she uses. I am well aware of my skin issues and did not need her “ expert” opinion. I have a dermatologist and I am working on my skin. Maybe she should worry about her turkey neck instead of my skin issues.

Bria never ever miss, she always gets me right with the latest lipsticks and lipliners. She also points me in the right direction for skincare. Bria is always very professional and patient. **Regan, who does an excellent job on my eyebrows. She knows the look you are going for without a picture. She is always on time and very professional. These two ladies make my day whenever I come into the store. I'm glad I'm able to interact with them even if I'm not being serviced.

Went in just 10 minutes ago and was not greeted by anyone. I looked around and found two employees chatting. So I waited. I kept walking back and forth and one of the two employees walked off to help someone who had JUST walked in. The other employee started texting. If you didn’t want my money Ulta, you could have just said so…

The customer service representative Link provided outstanding customer support. I wasn’t sure what I was looking for to purchase. When Link came to me and offered her assistance she made my experience so much easier. She is pleasant friendly and knowledgeable about the products Ulta Beauty is selling. She took her time with me, gave me options and made sure I was comfortable with the products I was purchasing. I will come to Ulta beauty more often as a result of my satisfied experience today.

Placed an online order for curbside 24hrs ago and wasn't notified of the order being ready until the following day. I sent my daughter for pickup, no one ever delivered curbside, and she was denied my order when she went into the store! The representative at the store Vanessa (refused her last name) was VERY rude and provided no assistance. I do NOT spend my money where I do not receive excellent customer service. I strongly suggest more training on efficiency and being courteous to those who spend HUNDREDS of dollars in this establishment. In the future, my money will be spent at another merchant for my beauty needs. This review will be shared on my social media platforms, as well. ?

01/23/2024 around 11:45am*Only reason I am leaving 2 stars is because of the sweet employee behind the cash wrap*Today (January 23rd, 2024) when I arrived to pick up my order I was promptly greeted very sweetly by the woman behind the cash wrap. She instructed me that she was not in charge of pick ups but that she would notify the right person that I was there to pick up my items as well as where I was in the store (I still wanted to look around a little while I waited). I could overhear the woman I had initially spoken with tell the woman in charge of pick ups where I was (in the aisle right in front of the cash wrap) so I tried to quickly decide if I was going to purchase the item I was looking at before the pick up woman got to me. What I was not prepared for was the sheer attitude and dismissive behavior I was met with in the aisle by this employee. I have never felt like such a bother to someone in my 25 years of life. I always strive to show and take pride in the level of respect, appreciation, and patience I have for individuals in the customer service industry as I know from personal experience how taxing it can be at times. That being said, this woman on pick up orders made me feel (in the 1 minute of total interaction I had with her) like I was unwelcomed, unworthy, and a nuisance in the store - like she couldn't get away from me fast enough. I hope I am the only person she makes feel this way today because I would hate for others to feel the same way I did after coming in contact with her.On the other, more positive note - whoever the woman is that was assigned to the cash wrap could not have been any sweeter, welcoming, and helpful. Anytime she was in front of a customer she was smiling and engaging. I did not see a single person leave an interaction with her without at least a grin. She honestly helped me get a little of my excitement back about the few products I picked up as well as the additional item I purchased while in store (which I wouldn't have done had the other woman been assigned the cash wrap just to avoid her). So if this really does get seen by the manager at the store I picked up at, please thank her for being a spectacular buffer to the grumpiest person I've ever seen work around such fun and creative products.
