I dropped off a package at this location, and the employee took my package and label without scanning it or offering me a receipt. As a result, the package was never tracked and never arrived at its destination. When I returned to speak with the manager, he dismissively told me, “It’s important to get a receipt.” When I explained that I was never given one, his only response was, “It’s in the script.”
This location has zero accountability or customer service. They offered no assistance in locating my package, and since they failed to scan it, their system claims they never had possession of it. I highly recommend avoiding this location if you want your shipments handled properly.

During 2 years I have been taking my eBay packages (4-12/day) to different UPS, USPS locations around here. This UPS store is the best: do not remember waiting ever. Student looking employees are very enthusiastic in processing my packages and they probably remember me because they know that I need receipts. If UPS cost me $15 and USPS is $8, I ship UPS because I feel good to visit this UPS store. Our local 23320 Post Office lost 2 dozen of my packages in 2023 and USPS employees act and look like they do not want to serve you while you are waiting in a long line. UPS delivered all my packages and employees of this UPS Store look like they are here to serve you at the time you enter this store.

UPS is pricey, however, I’ll pay to be sure my packages reach their destination as opposed to USPS which is a gamble. I use my AARP discount which helps. Would have given 5 stars if they had a push in rather than a pull out door which can be challenging when my arms are full with packages to mail. Efficient and friendly staff, my packages always arrive before their guaranteed date and tracking is on point!

Let me just say I go to this location all the time...mostly everyone is very friendly except the new manager with the braids and glasses. EVERY time I go there to ship something she always tries overcharging by picking the larger unnecessary box size. It's beyond me at this point.

Terrible customer service wanted to charge me $3.50 to print an amazon label and then scolded me for not having my amazon box pre-taped up. I recommend going to the Battlefield blvd UPS store they are much more friendly

Absolutely the best customer service I’ve received in a while. I commend this young lady because she was kind and respectful, and used good manners. Hard to find sometimes in todays world.

Time & time again Joe at the Gainsborough Sq Chesapeake location exceeds all expectations.
I've seen & experienced great customer service, speed with accuracy, & a cool temperment even when some customers are unkind.
Although service received at other locations were fine & there's nothing negatve to say. I've, unintentionally, caught myself comparing (expecting) his level of customer service.
Having that realization helped me to stop comparing & accept the personal best of each one, as we're all different.
I typically don't write reviews, which is why this is probably too long.
Thank you The UPS Store for giving us your best & hope we as customers arrive with patience, understanding, kindness, & thankfulness for the help we receive!
