Sat in line for an hour, with only three cars ahead of me. The staff would just ignore you at the window for 20 to 30 minutes without communicating a single time. I would recommend picking up subscriptions at a different chain.

Absolute worst pharmacy in Chesapeake! I have tried 2 different times to get scripts filled. One took 3 days and the other I finally gave up and took it somewhere else. DO NOT GO HERE!! I also see no response to their poor reviews which tells me they don't care.

I'm here working out of town I have my doctor transfer my prescriptions to this Walgreens. Not only they wasn't open for the Memorial Day weekend. (Saturday). But they phone service is very unprofessional no one answered the phone and I've been trying to get in touch with him just to see if my prescription came through or not very sad to have a pharmacy in the phone system doesn't work where people could check and make sure they're prescriptions are being taken care of glad it wasn't a life-threatening situation

If I could give this pharmacy a zero I would! I have been waiting two weeks for a prescription. Did not receive an update so finally called. The man I spoke to was mumbling and refused to help. He said “oh, there’s a glitch in our system, I don’t think we can fill this.” Just awful! So frustrating! Do not go there!

Came directly to Walgreens after being treated at the ER for an injury. After waiting in line, the pharmacy turned us away at 6:57pm saying they were closed and wouldn't provide us the prescription needed that evening for treatment even though their hours say they are open until 7pm. Went back the next day and they still did not have the prescriptions ready. Had to wait for over 30 minutes to get the meds we needed the night before. Don't come here if your health depends on reliable service.

Pharmacist was rude and dismissive. Not a professional, guess they just hire anyone lol. Went in to get some medical supplies for cat, got rudely turned away. Won't ever go back here.

Listen, times are weird. Insurance companies are for profit when it was never meant to be that way. The pharmacists and assistants are working so hard and not enough people are patient and kind to them. A little bit of kindness goes a long way ESPECIALLY when it comes to someone who is trying to help YOU. Things are most times out of their control. Not to mention the workload has doubled since the closing of other pharmacies. I can tell you I'm always greeted with a smile even when someone has just yelled at them in line in front of me. As a human, they are doing their job and cannot control how insurance is handled. The girl with the colored hair has always been my consistent person there FOR YEARS and she kicks butt. ❤️ I don't think people truly understand how much emotion they get served to them hourly. It costs nothing to be kind to the people trying to help you and do their jobs.

The manager is so rude ! She made it so difficult just for me to get my photos even after a copyright release form was shown. Do not order pictures from them trust you will be there for a hour !

This place is horrible for providers so I can only imagine when it comes to patients. I have called several times and they pick up and place me back on hold. This is poor services all away around. And they do not have a way to leave prescriptions via machine like other places.

The pharmacy department, specifically Alprentice and Lata, made my 87 year old mom very comfortable. They were patient and explained everything and helped resolve some delays in two of her medications. Instead of leaving upset my mom was calm and happy and everything was resolved by the next day.

Had the worst experience here. Even with previous contact with my doctor, the pharmacist on staff didn’t fill my script. Had to have my provider call a second time and deal with her specifically, they had a nurse practitioner talk and even that didn’t work. Power tripping, insecure and entitled staff. This Walgreens needs a management overhaul, rotten from the top. Other Walgreens pharmacies are great, stay away from Greenbrier.

Pharmacy is rude, acts like it’s my fault that they have to do work. On the phone on hold for over an hour, no one ever even said “hold please.”

Called again, since I never spoke to someone after that hour of waiting (mentioned above), and after another 20 minutes of being put on hold, they hung up on me. Started the process again, immediately put on hold for about 15 minutes, and then was hung up on again.
It’s like they don’t actually want to help people get medicine. Strange characteristic for a pharmacy to have.
This pharmacy is only good for people who don’t care when they get their meds and don’t care if the workers are demeaning.
I happen to need my medicine on time and when I am ~FINALLY~ about to speak with someone, I prefer to be spoken to with respect, so this pharmacy is NOT for me.

Prescriptions should NOT take an entire day to get filled. That is utterly ridiculous and completely unacceptable! Someone in pain doesn't care how "short staffed" you are. Maybe you should (for the sake of your patients), coordinate your short staff issues with another local Walgreens that can pick up your slack. I don't like it.

I have waited three weeks for this staff to fill my prescription! Went through the drive thru twice and they acted as if they didn't have my prescription ready for pick up. Both times they told me to come back later that day to pick it up. When I did, it was the same response. This is my third time attempting to pick up my prescription. When I spoke to the client by phone today to see if my prescription is filled they said they just put it in the que and should be ready later today. I explained this was unexceptable and they employee said it will be ready later, bye and hung up.
