You hold on the call and the service tells you what number caller you are I finally make it to 1 caller ahead of you and then they answer and say hold please you have 3 callers ahead of you!! You can't even get a word out and they put you back on hold!

Absolute garbage. Always ongoing lines at the Pharmacy. Automated refill system doesn't send orders to the pharmacy so umyou place the order, wait to pick it up at the time the automated system say then come in and find out they never got the order. Find ANY other pharmacy. The Rite Aid on Cedar takes TRICARE so you don't have to subject yourself to the incompetence at Walgreens

I will never go to this Walgreens again. Absolutely terrible.

Cashier at front was a young man who was unkempt and acted like I was bothering him to bring up purchases! ZERO customer service! I've been in customer service for many years and he truly needs some training, badly! His actions were ordering on rude behavior!

If I could rate the staff 5 stars but the company 0, I would, but Google doesn’t make these distinctions. This has got to be the busiest Walgreens on the planet and they have the smallest pharmacy area of any I’ve been too, they are always understaffed and under resourced and I don’t blame a single soul working here, it’s a corporate issue that they need to fix. You cannot get a prescription here without a minimum of a 40 minute wait, ever! Drive thru, inside, 40 minutes or more every single time. Corporate needs to do something to set this crew up to be able to serve their customers faster and more efficiently. It is absolutely asinine how this location is forced to operate. No one should have to wait this long for an order that’s “ready for pick-up”. Fix your system Walgreens corporate!!!! Take better care of the staff here and the hardship you put on them by not providing what they need to operate efficiently!

I never had any problems. Keep in mind people that work in walgreens are humans like everyone in this world and in life we have to wait. We need to be patient.

I had been using the Harris Teeter (HT) pharmacy in Hanbury Village in Chesapeake for many years. However, the Kroger Company ended supporting Tricare/Tricare For Life US military Rx drug plans on 01 JAN 2023. I switched to the Walgreen's Pharmacy in Hanbury (across the parking lot) for convenience. I introduced myself to the head pharmacist at Walgreen's and discussed my medications, two high-octane drugs (Controlled Class 2), and that my scripts would arrive monthly from my pain management lady. She said welcome and they'd do their best to take care of me.The first two months went smoothly. As I did for HT, I always called 5 days ahead of the fill dates, as the Rx is written "do not fill before a specific date," to make sure they had my Rx on file.In March, I checked in and they had the script. Then, I have to call in the morning of the fill day and request them to fill it (not automatic). That morning they said they were out-of-stock for my drug. What the . . .? Never in 7 years with HT did they not have my medication in stock, as in a 100% fill rate. I had to call 4 other pharmacies before I could find one that had my meds. Then I had to contact my pain lady to rewrite a new Rx since Class 2 (opioids) scripts are not transferable.I adjusted my 5-day pre-check phone call to include, "do you have my medication in stock?" They usually said yes, and if not, they said they would order it. But, after my pre-check call, if they filled someone else's Rx for that drug, they wouldn't have enough to fill mine. Or the delivery of the re-stock would be past my fill date. For the next 6 months I did the same drill, twice a month, and at least 50% of the time, I was either searching the local pharmacies to fill my script, or doing without. The excuse was, "well, we didn't have enough." Or "someone else was ahead of you. That's just the way it is." I tried using the other pharmacies as my primary, but it didn't make any difference. My pain lady said that happens a lot.For September, I was 2-for-2 getting my Rx's filled at the Walgreen's (Hanbury). In October, when I did my 5-day pre-check call, I told the pharmacist that I appreciated having both Rx's filled in SEP. She said she'd make sure I'd get both scripts filled as written from now on. I found out that she was the new head pharmacist . . . Laureen was the new sheriff in town. Since then, I'm back to a 100% fill rate. Laureen has cured the pain in my neck (and I don't mean that high) from all the extra-curricular phone calls and scrambles of the previous 7 months.I'm sure Walgreen's Pharmacy has hundreds (?) of customers. But their new head pharmacist makes me feel like I'm their only one. A very sincere thanx to her . . . .

There is never sufficient staff, the ones there are never trained, and no one ever helps them. Worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Can’t wait to go home and changed my preferred pharmacy, it’s been trash here for years.

You got to wait forever to get your prescriptions. The people through the drive-thru don't know what they're doing and they spend so much time looking for your prescription

This is the absolute slowest Walgreens on the planet. The workers move in slow motion - it takes me an hour to get my medications every time. It takes 2 minutes to ask someone their name and birth date and grab their medications. There’s absolutely no reason that everyone should have to wait 30, 45 min, 1 hour every single time in the drive thru.

I had to pick up pain medicine for my daughter who had just had her tonsils out and the pharmacy technician laughed as he told me it wasn’t ready. My daughter was sitting in the car crying as I’m in there getting laughed at. Not funny. The manager tried to make it right but the damage was done.

I have used Walgreens for years and would like to commend Zach. He is so polite and helpful. He is a very caring person. I really appreciate his kindness!

I just left my prescriptions at walgreen after waiting an hour, every available staff was looking for, the first person of the 6 in line, lost medication. Instead of helping the next in line while the other staff person continued to look. Isnt there a manager or at the very least anyone with organization skills?

As much as Walgreens makes, you’d think they’d have someone go out and clean their drive-in windows and lights that have been covered with massive spider webs, eggs and dead insects for months! The poor pharmacy staff can barely see out their filthy windows and the drawers are covered in webs and debris. They seriously need to pick up their game. Seriously ghetto looking for such a nice shopping area.
