This review addresses Wells Fargo’s overall customer service and security protocols.
On Saturday, January 4, 2025, I received an email at 3:11 PM stating that my account had been frozen due to suspicious activity. Along with being locked out of online banking, I was instructed to contact the fraud department. Upon calling, I completed voice authentication and provided all requested information, including my full name, Social Security number, phone number, and the authorization code sent via text message. Despite complying with every step to verify my identity, I spent over 90 minutes on the phone and was told repeatedly that my identity could not be confirmed.
The representatives informed me that I would need to visit a branch in person on Monday to resolve the issue, leaving me without access to my money or account until then. In my opinion, this is entirely unacceptable. Fortunately, I had no immediate plans requiring access to my funds, but had I been traveling or needed money urgently, this situation would have been disastrous.
While I understand the need for security protocols, I had provided all the requested information to verify my identity. This is the second time in 12 months that such an issue has occurred with Wells Fargo. Their authentication system is flawed, and their inability to assist customers over the phone, even when all questions are answered correctly, is deeply concerning.
As a result of this experience, I plan to close all my accounts with Wells Fargo on Monday. This level of service and security is unacceptable for any financial institution.

Samantha at the front teller line needs to check her attitude. Rolling your eyes and scoffing at the fact I requested $100s to withdraw, instead of $50s. I'm sorry a customer came inside a bank to get large bills and politely asked if you could get more instead of only offering me half of the amount I asked for in large bills. Then you have the audacity to roll your eyes at me for asking to do your simple job while sitting on your a**. Terrible customer service. Do better.
***Edit I didn't even see the 2.5 stars you have until after I posted this. That checks out. Management needs to check in on this branch apparently.....

Not so helpful- or not even helpful unless you deposit or withdraw money. Will never come back there for any other services. I would definitely recommend the one at Western Branch area. Its just my opinion per my experience.

Expect a wait inside and out. Only 1 or sometimes 2 tellers working at any one time. 3 and 4 customers deep in and out.

This is a busy branch during the morning and lunch hours. The cashiers and management are always ready to help both inside the branch and in the drive-through lines. The lines move fast and the staff is very friendly all the time. I have never felt rushed or unwelcome regardless of whether I was ready when I reached the teller for my turn, Smiles! It is cool that the teer usually remembers me and asks me how I am doing and we switch quick salutations. I love this branch. I recommend them to all my friends starting small businesses. They care about the communities they serve.

There were approx 7 + men in your bank when I arrived. Some were black some were white. Also, someone in a Stanley security black and yellow van.

Can I get someone to answer the phone or have the branch manager give me a call? I have tried calling numerous times! This ongoing issue of claiming I never turned my safe deposit keys in after moving away from the area in 2018 and charging me (after I told you I turned keys in June/July of 2018) is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I called the 1-800 number and she said that there was an "internal" number that she could transfer me to that would connect me to this branch, but wasn't able to give out. When she did, there was silence for about 3 minutes and then it disconnected. I'm not sure what you think a person's time is worth, but mine is extremely valuable.

Went to the bank to deposit my money order to pay my business license and the lady at the drive thru said they dont do that and that I had to go back wherever I got it from. I had to call customer service and go back up to the bank with customer service on the phone to get it deposited

I literally just walked out the bank whoever the cacausian lady is with the blonde hair and nasty attitude at the front desk needs to remember this is HER job she needs to have a friendlier attitude with customers especially if we've been with the bank 10 plus years and also I highly suggest she doesn't ROLL HER EYES AT ME AGAIN I'm a business owner I work for no one but me. She needs to remember why she is behind that desk and some of the people walking through that door are our own bosses we don't work for her. The teller at the window was much nicer.

I don't know if it's the company or this branch in particular, but it is completely awful that they're making my mother feel like criminal just because we're trying to help our grandmother transfer her money from this Bank into another.! Reasoning aside, would not recommend Wells Fargo anymore they have basically betrayed us.!

I was very disappointed with this branch all I wanted to do was a money transfer but because of covid 19 restrictions this was not possible however at Langley as well as chartway it was possible. I felt discriminated as if I had the virus I will be switching banks.
