I like this location. I normally shop at Harris Teeter or Whole Foods either doing pickup or having it delivered. The staff have always been friendly and helpful the handful of times I've visited. I've literally been in 3 Food Lions in my life, this one is pretty nice.

Clean and well stocked Food Lion. I do like this brand because they tend to run less expensive than their higher-end competitors. Produce isn't great and nor is the deli, but the frozen section is huge and they aisles and aisles of canned/boxed goods. Checkout was easy with a friendly checkout girl [Review 10860 overall, 631 of 2019.]

Okay Food Lion, I see you. Farm Fresh has closed up shop and many of the old FF buildings are being converted into Kroger's. Food Lion corporate apparently leveraged this moment in time to give their stores a facelift. They have re-designed their floors, added specialty sections, a steam table for hot (albeit, fried) food, a nice wine section, fresh-cut flowers and the check-out lanes have all been updated to instantly transform into full or express service with the flip of a switch. Same low prices and pleasant staff as before, but it appears Food Lion has stepped up its selection and quality game a notch or two. I like the change and I'm sure most will too.
