Be cautious about using your credit card at these pumps. Twice in the last year I have used their pumps after hours and within two or three days I had a fraudulent charge on my credit card in NY. I suspect that someone has installed a credit card reader to steal credit card numbers.

I like this Shell location because it is so well-positioned and conveniently placed for easy access for the most common routes through the Chester-area. It is exactly on the corner of the intersection of VA Route 10 and US Route 301 and right before the entrance/exit to Interstate 95. With two entrances/exits on both edges of its corner location this all makes it extremely easy to get to and then to quickly get back on the main road. The station itself also has a very large number of pumps which makes waits, even in busy times, seemingly rare and the layout of the gas pumps makes it so it's not especially convoluted to utilize efficiently. Prices are standard and the shop is meh.
