I chose the CVS located inside Target in Chester, VA because of the exceptional staff. I originally switched to CVS a few years ago when my insurance changed, and unfortunately, my previous pharmacy could no longer accept it. My initial experience with the standalone CVS next to Target was very negative. Often the staff were unhelpful and interactions felt dismissive.
In contrast, the team at the CVS inside Target has been outstanding. The staff consistently go above and beyond to provide excellent service. Just this week, a younger male staff member (I regret forgetting his name, but I believe he may be a college student) went out of his way on multiple occasions to ensure my needs were met. The pharmacist on duty was also incredibly helpful, and even the new employee at checkout provided a positive, welcoming interaction.
This team truly stands out for their professionalism, kindness, and dedication to customer care. They have made a significant difference in my experience, and I believe they deserve recognition, and even RAISES, for the quality service they provide.

I love coming to the Pharmacy inside the Target at 2530 Weir Road. The Pharmacist and the Pharmacist Techs that work at this location are awesome. Thank you.

This pharmacy is the most disgusting pharmacy I have ever been to. I've been coming here for a little over two months and in that short amount of time I, as well as others that I know, have overheard the pharmacist and one of the techs discussing being sick with serious illnesses while working. during my last trip, I overheard Sofia (the tech) tell a customer that she actively has bronchitis..with no mask. About two weeks ago, a friend of mine mentioned that the pharmacist, Jennifer, looked like she had a nasty eye infection. I'm no doctor but I don't think working around prescriptions with illnesses or symptoms like those are, in any way, professional, or sanitary for that matter. It makes me question whether or not the best safety precautions are being taken when handling people's medications. If the tech feels that comfortable working with a sickness like that with NO mask and the person who is supposed to enforce those precautions is a part of the issue, what other precautions are being tossed to the wayside? Safe to say my most recent trip there was my last, as well I won't be picking my prescriptions up from here any longer and I advise anybody who prioritizes their health and hygiene to do the same.

I want to shout out Felicia in the pharmacy!! I stepped on a nail. In a 1800s style home! I was in a panic because I haven't been updated on my tetanus shot. She acted quickly, gave me the vaccine. ALL while running that pharmacy! This woman deserves recognition, give her a paid vacation if you can because right there is the glue to your pharmacy! She really eased my mind. Other cvs pharmacies wanted me to wait until Monday and schedule online. With something this serious she was on top of things! Thank you so much Felicia again I seriously appreciate you!

I went there and the item I decided to purchase was in the wrong place. That was the last one, so I thought the price was correct until I went to ring it up and it was way off. I let the cashier know and he acted like, oh well you know. I asked him to called the manager, so I showed her where I got the item from. I was told that she couldn’t give it to me for that price, no apologies, no nothing. The products there are always in the wrong place. As I told her to avoid the confusion, please check to make sure the products are in their correct place. The cashier was a young kids who wanted to try and talk slick out his mouth at the front register, but I had politely put him in his perspective place. I will not frequent this CVS pharmacy again. The energy is off in that store for some reason now. I will spend my money elsewhere.

After having problems getting a refill filled at the CVS next door to Target, 5 days and still no refill, no one answering the phones, I called the CVS within Target and they had it filled within an hour. Someone at this location answered the pharmacy phone within 1 minute and the other location I was on hold more than 30 minutes and no one ever picked up. My insurance requires I use CVS, and unless things change, I will be using the CVS within Target for my prescriptions.

Pharmacy is the worst. They take a long time to fill prescriptions and they've told us they're ready at times when they aren't.
