They lie! My current delivery problem is with a package that was shipped “priority overnight.” It was supposed to be delivered by noon and needed an adult signature. FedEx made a delivery at 11:54AM of a different package to the same address, but did not deliver mine. I was notified that an attempt at delivery was made unsuccessfully. That’s a lie. I started making calls and spoke to multiple people, none in Chesterfield, and no one that would provide answers or help.
My next update on my package said there was a security problem. Another lie. The package needed an adult signature and the business owner was present for delivery with his ID in hand prepared to sign.
No one at FedEx is willing to contact the South Chesterfield hub, no one can tell me where my package is, and no one can tell me when to expect delivery.
I believe the issue lies with the delivery drivers as well as the management at the South Chesterfield hub. No accountability and no recourse for the customer.
What good does it do to pay the fees for priority overnight when the package receives no extra attention and will likely not make it to its destination on time?
Find another company to ship through. FedEx doesn’t value you or your business.

The fact it took 10 days for me to receive it and I had to drive to 1645 Ashton Park Dr South Chesterfield Va 23834 to pick up the package. It was uncalled for. I was told several times that the package was unable to be found. According to the tracking it arrived at this facility on 8/15/2025 at 10:29 P.M. When a ticket was made on matter it was purposely closed due to the fact that no one wanted to take responsibility on locating the package. I do not feel that it was my responsibility to pick up a package that I paid shipping for FedEx to bring to my address. I will be following up with corporate on this matter.

Two packages are currently lost at this location with no updates except they arrived there and they are delayed. I am only 30 minutes away and there is no way to go there and pick them up. These were very expensive items and I am unsure how I will get them. I am filing a complaint for fraud with the Better Business Bureau

Been waiting a whole month nothing has been delivered they told me to open a case with Best Buy & still after weeks of no response no nothing I legit lost 1k hoping I’ll get my laptop I really need for work & now I have to spend another 1k for a laptop that I really need at the moment for work

Sent a Package to customer that was sold on Ebay and they delivered it to the wrong address, when I contacted Fed Ex corprate they told me call back tomorrow

Never received my package and is still at the facility I paid the 25 dollars to speed the delivery up and get it delivered within 2-3 days its been a week and still haven't gotten the package.

Horrible delivery services! They were supposed to deliver a package to Hayes Microbial on Saturday and the driver said they weren’t open, which is not true! They also didn’t deliver a package After Fourth of July, it took them five days to get the package to the lab when it was supposed to get there the next day! We have been having issues with this location for weeks now! Totally unacceptable!

My package is a day late because it has been sitting in a warehouse 20 minutes from my house. And now I was told that it’s gonna be 24 to 48 hours before they can ship it again or before I can even speak to anyone about shipping it. FedEx has done nothing but lose packages. Matter fact, the driver that shows up my House smokes weed all the time. I don’t care too much about that but I don’t want all my packages smelling like weed. Nice Fed-Ex cares about their image. I am 20 mins away and cannot go pick it up! That’s BS.

Seems like everyone is having the same problem at this location something fishy is going on and i have called to report this in hopes of finding my lost or delayed packages. They leave them on delayed instead of saying there are lost in transit so it doesn't fall back on the one actually stealing the packages i know i used to work there

My packages recently strated coming through this fedex and ever since then i have had 4 packages dissappear. I have never had this happen in all the years of using fed ex now all of a sudden a bunch of packages are missing as soon as it hits this location. I called and started an investigation lets hope they find my packages!

Apparently my package was put on a truck, then brought BACK to the warehouse and delivery has not been updated for DAYS. Customer Service is non-existent, literally.

Terrible company I hope none of my packages ever have to go through them ever AGAIN. This is the second time my package has been stolen from fedex. I’m not sure if it’s the same driver or someone new but everytime my package seems to go through South Chesterfield, VA something happens to it. The first time I ordered a pair of Jordans that went out of stock everywhere and my delivery date kept saying delayed. It went from saying it would arrive later in the night to they could not deliver due to bad weather conditions even though my package was like 30mins away from me and the sky was sunny and clear as day. My most recent bad experience was today. I received a notification saying my package was out of delivery since 8:44am. I received a notification on my app that my package had been delivered and I could hear the sound of a heavy truck going down the road. I checked outside on my front porch to discover my package was nowhere to be found, I even checked my mailbox although I had a feeling it would not be in there anyways. I then went back on the app clicked the link and it said my package was delivered with a photo (which I could not tell if it was actually my package or not considering the driver took a picture of the back of the package). Additionally, the driver zoomed in so close on the photo that you can not tell where the package is or if it even made it out of the truck. I then checked my ring camera and saw where the fedex truck went down my street BUT NEVER STOPPED. From my camera I can see that the time he went down the street was when my package was marked as delivered! So he never stopped to get out to even attempt to deliver my package, he just stole it and kept going. I then called customer service and the first representative I spoke with informed me that he contacted the South Chesterfield location and that they got in contact with the driver to re-deliver my package. I was told that the package would be delivered at least by the end of business day. I told him that was unfair that I would need to wait around for my package (to see if he actually came back because I didn’t trust that he wouldn’t just do the same thing again). The representative then informed me he expressed my concerns with the manager there and that the driver would deliver my package after his next drop off which was a couple streets down from me, still somewhat in the neighborhood. I asked for an estimated time and the representative informed me that it shouldn’t be long since he wasn’t that far away. I waited for about 10 minutes and never saw the truck come back, I went down the street where the driver was “supposed” to be and still saw no truck. I called FedEx back and the second representative stated that they would escalate the situation so that someone would call me back by the end of business day and fix this problem. Then told me he had no way of contacting the South Chesterfield office to see where my package was. Never received a call back at all and didn’t hear anything else about the driver coming back to deliver my package. I waited outside for 30+ minutes and never saw the truck ever come back. I called a third time and spoke with a different representative. I informed her of all that transpired and she stated that my package had been delivered to the wrong address (which was NEVER stated by the other representatives) and that a case had been opened. I asked her to transfer me to her manager, was put on hold for a few minutes and then was sent to do a survey. At this point it seems like FedEx South Chesterfield, VA must be known for hiring thieves because this is absolutely ridiculous. This is the second time that I’ve ordered an item that has gone out of stock multiple times and it happens to get stolen by the delivery company?!!?! The driver didn’t even make an attempt to make the drop off look legit and even the representatives at the store I ordered from said the delivery photo looks sketchy.

The absolute WORST shipping company ever. Not only did they open my package and steal products but they consistently misdeliver my packages because their drivers either ignore gps or dont read street signs. Customer service sucks and they do NOT follow up like they say they do. Now I have to spend hours going back and forth with the shipper.
