Chester Animal Clinic is an established, second-generation, full-service, small animal veterinary facility that has been serving and caring for the pets of Chesterfield County, Virginia since 1968. They treat a variety of companion animals and offer many diagnostic tests on-site. The clinic is committed to their patients' health and wellness, providing a range of services and products to meet those needs. Clients praise the wonderful doctors who take the time to explain everything and the caring, thorough, and understanding staff. They have received positive feedback for their excellent care, with one client noting that their 15-year-old dog received a good report and is now well on the way to recovery after a recent illness. Another client expressed appreciation for the great energy and treatment of their pet as if it were the doctor's own. The clinic has also successfully cared for a new puppy, getting him right up and doing "crazy puppy things." Visitors also mention that the staff treats their pets like their own, and when boarding at WestChester, owners feel confident that their animals are in good hands, with prompt communication if any problems arise. The clinic's compassionate approach is evident in the way the veterinarian gets down to the pet's level during exams, making a positive difference for many pet owners. Dr. Anderson is highly praised as one of the best vets, consistently going above and beyond to ensure pets receive excellent care.
Everyone in the office is so kind and genuinely happy to see and interact with every animal that comes in. They take such good care of my kiddo and never make me feel bad about my anxiety over my (first) senior dog.

I have been coming here for years for my cat, never had an issue. I always take my cat here for his shots. I dont recommend getting a neuter/spay here tho because of how much they charge, i recommend prevent a litter for affordability.

Chester Animal Clinic is my dog Pepper’s primary Veterinarian. Pepper feels very comfortable there. I feel that Pepper is very much taken care of there.
